how easy is it to sell solo ads?

I have been building a list using nothing but media buys, ppc and facebook. My traffic is good and i offer allot of value. However i do want to get into making money with solo ads.

So how easy is it, is it a model one can make a decent income with? or am i going to be disappointed very soon.

    Test your list by banking and swapping with partners .. send broadcasts to your list and track average CTR .. once you hit 100 clicks per broadcast .. start selling solo ads.

      What kind of statistics services can i use to measure this?

    There are several .. both hosted and self hosted .. I started out with AdTrackzGold and now use QCC .. there are a bunch .. simple search in Google will reveal the nuggets..

    As said track and get the numbers, number of clicks per mailing, % of tier 1, the number you can send out daily, then start selling.
    Selling is quite easy, when you begin, do a promotion sale, that will help you sell and will give you testimonials, then it will become easier.

    Selling solos is easy. Did this for a while on Safe Swaps. I quit because I had other things I wanted to do with my time. I was making money at it, though.

    Just a heads up .. SafeSwaps is changing their business model to free starting July, tentative .. they are adding a premium to the buyers side .. no more monthly fee ..

    Selling solo ads is fairly easy. Just if it's going to take you say 5 days to deliver 100 clicks, state that. As long as the buyer knows how long it will take to deliver before they buy, it goes a lot better.

    Have seen to many solo ad sellers offering 500 to 1000 click packages and not mentioning that it will take them several weeks to deliver.

    Just keep it on the up and up and you will build repeat business instead of a bad name.
