Finally nailed it with Fiverr

I don't know about you guys but so far most services on Fiverr have proved to be worthless for me, until this one service that I decided to try because I thought unless the seller is blatantly lying, nothing could possibly go wrong with this gig.

Here's what I did:

I wanted to use press releases to sell Cb products - the paid PRs I mean. the issue was paid PR sites charge a bomb and if you want your PR to appear on multiple sites, its going to cost some big money. I was going to do it anyway, but decided to give Fiverr a shot for the last time.

There are several gigs on fiverr that publish your PRs on multiple paid PR sites (including the free ones, but i didnt want the free stuff) for 5 bucks. I chose one that offered express delivery and tested with a CB weightloss product.

I got the exl sheet with the URLs within 24 hours. Within the next 24 hours I had 6 sales. Not something big, but excellent ROI.

I'm now promoting my own products on a bigger scale and I hope it'll work out well too.

So, yes, Fiverr isn't that bad after all. You just have to be able to spot the right gigs and use common sense. They can't make you rich, but if you know the tricks of your own trade you can cut down on the donkey work and also some costs with Fiverr gigs.

Fiverr has always been for me a great resource for my outsourcing services. I must pay nearly every week for some quality articles written for me with content marketing. Just be extra careful and read the descriptions and reviews carefully.

I've been using Fiver for a few years. I've had the most luck with graphic designers but I've also found a few decent article writers as well.

Not for the CB thingy mentioned above, but I did get a decent writer too to give me PRs in bulk for my own products. I guess I'm starting to like Fiverr now.

    Good job!

A lot of people brush Fiverr off as a waste of time and money. But there are quite a few hidden gems in there. I found an ebook cover designer that could easily charge $100+ for her work.

The only gigs I stay away from are the ones that guarantee website traffic, x amount of Twitter followers or Facebook fans. Those are just bots and fake accounts that lead to 0 conversions.

Yeah, I bought some twitter followers some time back and almost all disappeared one by one in a matter of weeks.

I completely agree with you BradVert 2013 regarding using Fiveer for Traffic generation.
I did this myself; I was highly tempted by all the huge figures of Traffic that people claimed to generate from their Gigs.

For sure it catches your eye and is totally tempting BUT.......... Guys let’s be honest we know deep down to get such a large amount of real traffic won’t cost just 5Bucks
So yes I wasted my money a few times to receive lots of traffic but with absolutely NO conversion!
      BUT.... I live and learn!!!

However I am using Fiveer for editing videos/Graphic Design and I have good value for money and it does save me time to focus on actually generating real converting traffic.

I hope my honesty helps you to not be tempted by traffic from Fiveer Gigs!

    Nice share !

Fiverr does have some quality gigs if you know how to look for them.

May I ask : did you write the Press Release yourself or did you also use a gig on Fiverr to have someone write it for you ?

For the CB stuff, I did the PRs myself. When I moved on to work on my own products, I wrote a couple myself, but then found a decent writer who specializes in PR writing and the stuff I'm getting is exactly the way i want it.

Not only is it good for back breaking work but also some really sweet stuff that can save you a lot of money. There are coupons, memberships, PR sites - you just have to spend enough time to pick out the gems.

I look forward to getting to the point where many of you now are about feeling confident using Fiverr.
      Clearly, I'm not there yet.
Perhaps I'm too impatient, but I still usually end up doing things myself that I know I would be better off outsourcing.
I'm seeing a lot of Fiverr workers who mention specifically that they speak English, yet respond to my requests as if they can't. Who show graphic work they claim is theirs, but can't create an image for me that is similar to the sample, and so on.
What would be really helpful would be tips from those of you who are getting along well with Fiverr for how you accomplish this. Thanks.

That is the problem with Fiverr. If you are not careful you'll end up losing money. But, it wasn't like this always. I guess Fiverr is now more focused into having more people on board and making more money. Quality is no longer a priority.

Yup the ROI was good. I realized you just have to use your common sense. I learnt that by losing all twitter followers in a matter of days that I bought on Fiverr. And why not, that is highly untargeted stuff. When people realize they are following the wrong person, they just quit. So, I guess the traffic and bulk link stuff are a waste of money.

I get some broker deal done in Fiverr. You just have to find the right gig. Hidden Gem.

Normally, reading all the review will be enough for me to decide.

I beg to differ here. I did go by the positive ratings, but it turned out those were fake. Maybe the rest of the users also realized the mistake until it was too late, the reviews were already given and they couldn't take them back when they lost the Twitter followers.
