Site Explorer & EZA?

I checked the backlinks to my article on EZA through Yahoo Site Explorer and it says "2,131 backlinks," the problem is that I only have a few backlinks. Every article I checked an article I had insanely high and inaccurate numbers. Is this checking something other than my article like the data base related to my niche? Confused, please help? Thanks

    Did you look through the links to see what they were?
    Maybe some were internal links?

      I feel like a putz asking this but I only see a box that says, "inlinks." How do I found external links?

        Click on "inlinks". A pulldown box will show up to the right of the button. Select "except from this domain."
