Of course! There are many ways. Go to the Clickbank marketplace and see if there is a product that is related to your site's niche. Become an affiliate and begin promoting that product on your site.

Or, sign up for CPA (cost per action) networks and, if you have a decent amount of traffic, you can make money by having people fill out their contact information (short lead forms).

Hi Michael,

Forget about Adsense, try to join affiliate programs that offer products in your niche (Clickbank and Commission junction are my favourite affiliate platforms). Try to build an email list and promote only products you're convinced will be useful for your readers.

There's money to be made with some CB products.

I've been selling a CB product that is based on Public Domain & traffic still buys. Really I think it's the convenience (package) people are buying because I can legally download this stuff for free all day long simply searching Google SERPs. It's the same with Public Domain books on Amazon, you might swear nobody will buy that stuff but traffic still buys...

I don't mess with the silly niches like dating, get your drunk back or whatever nonsense. I look for things that sell in offline stores like Barnes & Noble, Office Max, etc..., there's a few niches like that on CB, you just have to dig.

Yes, CB does pay out. It's not complicated, match the traffic up with a product.

Why don't you write an ebook on bowling techniques (I'm an Aussie BTW), stretching for cricketers, mindset for cricketers, 'Training the Don Bradman Way' or things to that effect. Seriously, you could create ebooks / reports that would sell on Amazon as well as your own site in about 50 different skills / how-to's related to Cricket.

It depend to your niche, you should explore more about it and see if there are more opportunities that related to your niche. However, I believe you will get to know about it soon or later. Actually, you can sell advertising spaces in your website. You may go to some well-known brokers or try to offer direct advertising to some major companies or local companies nearby. For the other opportunities you may also try affiliate program and CPA. Just make sure that you keep focus to your loyal readers.

I would try BuySellAds or a couple of other networks who will provide optimised banners for your site. I've used TLV Media and Matomy, both good

I lost my Adsense account a few years back and tried to find something comparable - but wasn't successful. Adsense is hard to replace because the other contextual ad networks don't pay out nearly as well.

Clickbank is an okay option and I ended up making more with that than I did with Adsense. Yes, there is a lot of junk, but if you stay away from the MMO, Ex Back niches, you could do okay with them.

I am more into CPA type stuff now and it's working well. One of the biggest fears I had was getting rejected by the networks (they call you), but if you're upfront and honest and you aren't doing anything shady, you'll get approved. You don't have to have tons of traffic - I learned that.

Which one of your sites was blocked from Adsense, one or both of the ones listed in your signature line? Both are highly specialized, one being about cricket and the other one about templates. Adsense might not really have been the best use of your advertising space anyway. There are many sites that allow you to sell ad space directly. The ads are sold and served up automatically and you earn money in that way. There are other clever ways you can sell ad space, including paid reviews. Since your sites are very well established, you should have no problem finding others who would want a review of their related products on your site.

I was also got blocked by adsense but that's not a big deal you can use adversal. Or you can also put premium content to your site like ebooks or templates.

You can also try to make an adsense account with different name and address and add it to your site with different IP that may also work

AdSense is kind of disappointing lately, I've never really made any money with it.
Instead, what worked for me were some advertising newtorks, like matomy (the old TLS) or LinkWorth (although lately, they have stopped paying, but they used to be really good). Look for other ad networks, subscribe and wait to see if you'll sell a link or two.

Huh I dont think that Google Adsense is the final way to earn money from your blog/website.
Many of the Affiliates program are there to make you earn money for your website's traffic.
I suggest to work on the traffic of your website and just fill some empty space with advertisements allotted by your sponsor.
You can join Commission Junction, Amazon Affiliate Program and many others you can find your self on google.
If you are having mobile traffic you can use mobile affiliate marketing programs to utilize your traffic.

I'm rotating CPA offers on my niche blogs (non IM) on IM i have adsense. The rotation right now is primitive using a plugin (Ads by datafeedr.com) however the problem is I can't export the CPA banners I rotate to other niche blogs, so I'm finally biting the bullet and going to install and learn Revive Ad Server platform.

I just signed a contract for one of my niche sites they said to send me code for my webmaster to insert into the site this week (I guess by tomorrow), but I'm not holding my breath, looks like most of them don't pay well (accept google). I applied with the Bing but haven't heard back yet, maybe I did it wrong.

My gut feeling the optimal way is to have your own server and let people buy ads and the empty fill with CPA offers then optimize from the server. The problem is tons of work and learning. I'll try to figure it out and if I get it to work share with you guys.

The best results I've had until recently, with affiliate programs, has been with Amazon, by writing specific product-report pages on single products, with summaries of what real customers say, comparison and alternatives, etc.

I tried Amazon and Clickbank ads alongside general content, as well as AdSense, and while those can make a little money, I find it much more worthwhile to write good product reports for Amazon products. So see of your website topic relates to any products available on Amazon (ideally products worth more than $100, that cannot be bought at a typical WalMart, and which sell well with plenty of customer reviews to quote and summarise, and the products are not too big or heavy).

You can use Click Bank or JV Zoo and find a product that's related to your niche and add a banner or article with link to your website. You can sign up to a CPA company and promote their products on your website. You have many pay per a lead or pay per a click products with some CPA's. And you can also sell advertising ad space on your website. If you have enough traffic to interest other businesses then you can offer a small or large ad space for a certain price monthly.
