PAID MEMBERSHIP SITE ***I NEED SOME HELP***

Hi.
I have a "HOW TO" Wordpress Blog that teaches people how to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

I have videos and written descriptions on how to do everything. It is pretty amazing!

Anyways...I made this site because my friend encouraged me to put it on the web because I already had all of the videos filmed.

<I know how to promote it with Pay Per Click (and I don't want to hear anything about how to promote it....) >

I would really like it if you have a PAID MEMBERSHIP SITE - If you could tell me how to set it up.

Thanks.

There's tons of software out there that'll do this. Download Guard springs to mind. As do Wishlist and MemberWing for Wordpress.

There are a couple plugins that can make even a WP blog into a membership site.
The other option would be to use a membership site script - you can find even a few warriors who sell that kind of software. Just try a search...

First thing would be to use a real membership script for a "Paid Membership" and not wordpress...

Um.... Thanks for the feedback... I would really love it if.... you could be very specific.... I know of WPmember and Amember. But I would like to know the best way that is not too expensive - so if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot.

Could you go into a bit more detail about what you're trying to achieve?

Are you going to supply more Wordpress videos every month or something? I'm not quite sure why this is a membership rather than one off product.

I'm sure it's just my misunderstanding. If you clarify a bit I can probably give you better advice on what would suit your needs.

    Cheers,

    Andy

Yes obviously go with Wishlist , but it is true, if you're looking for a cheaper way to set up a WordPress login password protect the content. and month-to-month to send out a new password to all the members.

This is my little input into the subject

    Um.....
I have a Wordpress Blog. I teach people HOW TO "MAKE MONEY WORKING AS AN ENGLISH TEACHER OVERSEAS."

I have over 75 videos on different games that you can use in the classroom to make you appear as a professional ESL Teacher.

I want to show 10 videos for free... and then have the rest of the videos - you would need to pay money to see.

I am not a computer expert... but what I heard was - that I could make a WORDPRESS blog as a paid membership site... I would also be interested in learning how to do any form of paid membership - as long as you can help me understand HOW TO SET IT UP...

    Thanks a lot everybody!

If you aren't planning to add additional videos each month or some other content on a regular basis then a membership site isn't appropriate and you're better off selling them as a single, one-off package.

For something like this I highly recommend E-junkie Shopping Cart for selling downloads & tangible goods. You get a pretty long trial and after that it's just $5 a month. It's also really quick and easy to get up and running.

    Cheers,

    Andy
