How to advertise/ test a landing page?

Hi, i'm a newbie who is testing the waters of affiliate marketing

I have created a squeeze page for a product in a competitive but lucrative market and I want to test it out by getting some traffic towards it.

I am working on an ebook to be my low price offer to build up a list and trust before I offer higher priced products.

I understand that adwords don't like 'bridge pages' which my squeeze page would fall under. I can get around that I understand by putting some quality content on and padding it out.

Thing is, i just want to test the conversion rate.

I would do a facebook ad but the product is in an adult niche and I don't want my name associated with it in a public arena. Can you use facebook business / product page anonymously?

Any ideas on quick traffic/ test strategies.

This is my first foray into IM so if there's any glaring, 'faceslap' errors in my thinking then just set me straight. Cheers.

Its not necessarily a question of not standing behind it- its an excellent quality product that i fully believe in.

Its more that i was concerned about any facebook ads being linked to my facebook profile as i want to keep the IM side of things separate from my day job and the clients on my profile.

        Solo ads.

Pretty much exactly how I test my squeeze pages.

I am not in the adult niche so I understand where

        you are coming from.

I still would look into solo ads to test your page conversion rates.

Set up a separate FB page for your product, peprhaps?

    OR

I know there are advertising agencies out there with traffic mainly derived from adult sites and sources. I just can't recall the one I'm trying to remember the name of right now. Can you PM me Alex and I will look my archives and see if I can get the company name for you.

It would seem a good fit if you can hit a lagely adult derived audience with an adult product. The other good thing is that there's a ton of traffic and it's dirt cheap to advertise to. So you can split test landing pages / offers / headlines all day to get your creatives sorted out before going to a more planned or deliberate roll out.

    Hey Alex,

Maybe you should create a "review page" where you review different products. I am sure that they will allow that.

Plus, Google is NOT your only option when it comes to pay per click. You should also test with Yahoo/Bing.
