Is 50-250 new subscribers per day good?

I'm a newb with IM. Just started giving away an eBook last week. Is 50-250 subs per day good? Got over 1000 in about 10 days. No idea how to monetize it yet.

That's AMAZING- keep up the great work!

Why don't you share what you're doing so other newbies can learn from it? Seriously, most newbies might get 1 or 2 a day and you're between 50-250 - congrats!!

NICELY done man (assuming you're a male, that is).

You're going about things the RIGHT way - and taking MAJOR action which most people never do.

Next thing you want to do is set up an auto responder sequence for after people are opted into your list.

        • I usually make my first email a 'thanks' and offer any help that they might need.
        • 2nd email can be a follow up (2 days later), reminding them to read the e-book and ask if they've got any questions.
        • 3rd email i'll usually promote something and suggest it's a good COMPLIMENT to the freebie offer I provided.
        • From there, make it a good combination of relationship building emails, helpful emails, and promotions - don't promote every single day without offering value or you'll find your list unsubscribes quicker than you build it
However, not sure what you're selling/promoting in this niche..... physical products on amazon might be good, or other digital downloads if they're suitable for your niche.

Anyways, congrats once again - and thanks for sharing your steps too - I'm sure you'll get a ton of questions now about it though! LOL

Yes that's awesome! There are plenty of very easy ways to monetize your subscribers.

But first set up the basics such as a good funnel which will produce income for you on autopilot.

I would call this very good! Most marketers dream of numbers like that. Work on your sales funnel and give your subscribers a lot of value with that you can build trust and a relationship.
Start testing and tweaking your funnel for better conversions.

That's pretty incredible. The subscriber rate is awesome and is easily monetizable now. All you have to find out now is how to solve their problems and how you can deliver it to them. Is it via your own paid product or affiliate product? Either way, you just hit a goldmine dude. Just treat it well and profit big from it.

Also, you should join the War Room, they have tonnes of free guides on how to monetize a list and maintain your list without losing any subscribers etc. It's worth it especially for $20 since you get more than $100 worth of free stuff which is easily scalable.

Awesome job! If you wanted to take it a step further and get into the list building niche a little you might consider detailing this list building method and putting it into an ebook. Then, give the ebook away as a free WSO in exchange for subscribers. Then you will have a list in another very profitable niche too.

Just to clarify things, because you are talking about "giving away" , "subs" and "free downloads".

You had 1000 free downloads over 10 days ? Or/and you got 50-250 people a day subscribing to your email list through an opt-in form?

So in 10 days you have let's say 10x100=1000 subscribers? The same amount as 10 days free downloads of your Ebook???

    Am I missing something??

Sorry, not too familiar with the terminology yet. People had to subscribe to my Aweber list with a double opt in form if they wanted to download the eBook. Had 0 subscribers on April 16th and I'm at 1163 subscribers/downloads just now. So just under 100 per day on average. The best day was 230 (yesterday), the worst day was 21.

That's actually very good IMO! Even more incredible is your 70% opt-in rate! Sounds like you really hit a home run right off the bat, great job!

Don't stop your promotion efforts though, as it could quickly die out. You would want to take this chance to build your momentum. Since there are already other blogs publishing your content, it would be easier to convince more to do so, especially if you can provide them with different content. You want to take this chance to build your momentum.

That's actually exceptional. The next step is to figure out how you are going to monetize those users in an effective way. You don't want to bombard them, and you have to make sure that you provide value in your follow ups. Ideally, you should have had a series of newsletters planned before launching the eBook. Look at stats about customer engagement following downtime.

Not Surprizing me if you bring such a number in a record time using Eben Pagan techniques, You have sure invest a lot of money on this, but you need to make it happen with such numbers of List........

If you have a good strategies to bring subscribers to your list, why can't you buy a domain, build a blog, bring traffic to that site, once you hit the bar you are looking for traffic, sell the site in Flippa....I would assume you can do that within 2 or 3 months....

    Hi,

You need to start sending them an email every single day and begin to build
a relationship with your leads and subscribers.

Allow them to get to know, like & trust you as a marketer.

Share with them your lead generation tips as you are obviously doing well
    with that.

You could create your own product around your traffic generation strategies
and promote that to your list.

    Hi...

That is awesome, so now that you got those numbers, now what you want to do is run a test, keep one intact the other make changes to offer, pic, heading title, etccc the idea is to increase your response rate ...

You see if you haven't done any type of testing, and not sure if you did then you are working in the blind believing that you did great when you can do better and beat the last results.

I don't know if it would work for you, but essentially the blog posted each chapter as an article. I think Tim Ferriss did it a similar way, but by giving each blog slightly different 'exclusive content' from the book. This is probably a better strategy because then you get the combined traffic of each blog rather than the same readers hitting the sequence of articles on one blog. It seems to be ok for me because the blog ranks well for SEO and I still get lots of subscribers per day coming from their site.

Yes, it's very good! When I first started, I was getting 10 to 30 or so subscribers every single day and with that, I was able to bring in $3K per month. If I were to go back in the past with what I know now, I could easily take that to a minimum of $10K per month with the same amount of leads.

Back then I wasn't using OTO's, DS, consistent with emailing or really leveraging my resources as best as I could.

A 70% optin rate to a squeeze page is a good conversion rate but what matters is the quality of these subscribers and whether they open, click and take action.

What open and click rates are you seeing?

Squeeze pages and free bribes in exchange for emails aren't usually a good way to build a list as the people opting in do so to get the free give away and not neccessarily the follow up emails.

Plus as you usually don't have any real relationship with them they don't bother to open or read your follow up emails so you can never build that trust up.

Even if you're freebie is stupidly good a lot will never get round to reading it and those who do won't take action. A lot of people don't value free products or do anything with them.

With you driving traffic from blog posts you might have built up a bit of a relationship with them before hand so that could work in your favor.

Again it's all about the open and click rates though. Getting a 1000 subs who don't open anything you send or never take action makes them useless.

I'd rather have 100 active subscribers who have a great relationship with me and are looking forward to my emails than 1,000 subscribers who don't remember who I am or give a shit what I'm sending.

What open and click rates are you seeing?

Squeeze pages and free bribes in exchange for emails aren't usually a good way to build a list as the people opting in do so to get the free give away and not neccessarily the follow up emails.

I'm yet to see the open rates. I want to get the first email to the list perfect, so I'm taking my time. The first email will contain a bonus companion checklist that I think most engineers will find more useful that the eBook itself. I'll direct the mailing list to my blog where they can download the checklist for free. I've installed easy digital downloads so that they get used to the system and in 2-3 emails time, I'll offer paid downloads for some useful stuff. I've also had someone on the list ask if they can purchase a hardcopy of the eBook, so I may upload to Amazon and ask the list to rate the eBook and buy a hardcopy if they like. We'll see how it goes.

You clearly know what you are doing. As a newbie I think that amount is really good. Maybe release a WSO once you are able to monetize it. I would recommend picking good WSO's and selling it to the list but only if you add good bonuses. Otherwise please don't pester the list ceaselessly.

    How to monetize your list:
You can pick some offers from Warriorplus and JVzoo with 100% commission and high visitor value. Then grab your affiliate link and create a new follow up series using your autoresponder service containing your affiliate link. You will make sweet commissions doing that.
Also you can join Pay Per Lead networks and they welcome your sales funnel clicks and you will earn $0.50-$3.00 per single optin.
That's a good way to earn cash with your subscribers. Now you are gaining 50-250 new subscribers each day!

    To Your Online Success
