You've possibly heard of meme generators, right?

Did you realize you can upload your own images in thingees like that and turn yourself or your picture/etc. into a meme? Both sites above have a 'upload your own image' - just add your text and you're on your way.

The font often used is a large white Impact font with a black outline.

Want meme to have an Impact? Use this font - CNN.com

has a great example using Grumpy Cat:

      But, how does this bring quality traffic to your site. I understand the viral nature of these things but I do not understand how to get traffic from it.

      I myself have gotten theses MEMES and passed them along when I thought they were funny, but never did they ever bring me to a website,

      I read the articles in your post but all they talk about is going viral and how to make them go viral but not how to convert that to quality traffic

        All depends upon how you use them.

        Lots use them on FB and make sure to put their FB group or website in the description - that means whenever it gets shared, the URL gets shared as well.

        You can also brand your website ON a viral image - I do that myself in my FB Group Perking Up Profits. I share it on my wall, folks share it around, my group name gets passed around too.

        You're right - in the vast number of times, it's traffic but not OMG I WANNA BUY NOW!!!!!! kinda traffic. But for long-term exposure - getting your website name out in social media certainly does help!
