Another option would be to spend a small sum and join the Warrior Forum's War Room.

There are a lot of great resources in there, many of which will help you get started. The tools and guidance are mostly free. I think there's a lot you could benefit from.

I have not been through the courses you mentioned so I can't comment on them.

No matter what you choose to do to make money, you will want to gain an audience and build a list. A lot of Warriors do that by blogging in addition to whatever business model you choose for selling.

I know John Chow blogs and I would think it would be valuable to at least observe what he is doing.

This is just my personal opinion but if you're just getting started, I think the best way to learn is to just get started. There is no "secret" information that you can't find for free. Set a goal, for example "build one website that earns money by xxx and get its visitors from yyy" and start researching how to do it. Trial and error will, IMO, make you a better marketer than one who just blindly follows a program from start to finish without thinking for himself. Just my 2 cents

Edit: also, re: the War Room. Yes there is a ton of good info there, and there is a ton of bad info there. As a newbie you may easily get lost and face the problem of information overload. Personally I think it's better for more experienced marketers who can better judge what's good and bad, and you could use that money for something more constructive like content, links, domains, hosting or whatever.

The best advice I can give you is to make a decision that no matter what happens, you will succeed.

I can tell you right now that most of the things you will get started with will not work too well for you and you have to test all sorts of things to see what is working best for you.

Plus, if you need to invest some money and then you lose it, don't panic. Every setback that you will face will be a learning curve for you. You have 2 choices when things don't work out.

1. You can quit.

2. You can learn from your mistakes and move on. For every adversity lies an equal or greater benefit/s. Success is a guarantee when you never give up.

I can't comment on the particular programs that you mentioned. I would recommend you setup your blog and related social media. Get a feel for all of that first. Set some goals and get to work. If what you do doesn't work, then look for some products that address the specific areas where you need help. I know that probably isn't what you want to hear Best of luck!

Joining the War Room first. If you have interest to find a real mentor that must be better than 3 programs you've mention before.

There are endless opinions on how to do it, and there are just as many ways to success. I personally think most of the paid course/systems are crap or outdated. Learn as much as you can through research, forums, and popular blogs, but if you can find a mentor, that's the best way to go in my opinion.

I started out myself a few weeks ago and i know, it is pretty hard to decide which way to go.
I can only share what i did: i started my own blog and driving traffic to my blog.
On my way i learned that the most important thing is to just take action. Take action - thats my advice for you - and follow a plan.
Goal setting is important and it is something, that only you can do yourself. Nobody else knows your goals.

There is no "secret" anymore online. Marketing is marketing is marketing. Focus on targeted lead generation, start an email list, pitch to the list, grow it into the 30,000's+, and sit back and chill at home all day...... with the teacher you always wanted to get with in high school.

I like Matt Lloyd, he is one of the top IM'ers and really knows his stuff.

John Chow is one of Matt Lloyds top affiliates, I'm just not personally a fan of the blogging model to build a business, but it does work..

I'm not Familiar with Michael Brown, but I know Mario Brown is good to learn from....

If you wanna build a real business than you have to spend some money. But invest in the beginning in some in my eyes essential things like your own domain for branding, hosting and most important an autoresponder.

You can get useful and valuable information here on the forum and when you join the warroom than you can get even more information. Don't get overwhelmed with all the information, start learning the basic things you'll need however you decide your direction is. Learn things like setting up a simple side, how to build a squeeze page, traffic generation (Video Marketing, Forum Marketing, Blogging, Paid advertising) and so on.

After that you still can invest in some products. John Chow is a good blogger and I believe his products are good as well but I think you will find all the information from his paid products already somewhere on his blog. MTTB is actually the way to go for you but if you wanna make good bucks with it than you have to invest in the license which will cost you 2K one time plus 100 bucks monthly. I highly recommend MTTB but you have to consider the costs.

Particularly look at this diagram on the article, and pick a business-model that match your goals, skills, situation etc.

Two personal skills I think that are important in business are to be patient (don't fall for "how I made $10,000 in my first 30 days" headlines), and to the skill to make smart decisions (and F.O.C.U.S. which stands for Fulfill One Course Until Success).

Like John Chow's program is about blogging. Obviously you CAN make money blogging. But it takes such a dedication on your part to consistently find good contents and write them in your own words. You do that for a year or two. Then you would gain some crowd to your blog and start earning some affiliate cash. That's a long way to go. If I were you, I would also join War Room just like many respected warriors here said. Not all of them are updated. But you would find some good methods to start making money.

I like to add a pointer to finding a good offer. That is people's reviews and ratings. Don't just jump to one thread to another. But read the content and people's reviews and feedbacks. And look how old is the thread. Do they still leave good feedbacks? Is the method STILL working? If you have these in mind while looking for an offer to work on, it would save you a TON of money and time that can be wasted.

having experience with niche blitzkrieg and blogging with john chow I can say that both are good. here are the differences

Niche blitzkrieg is a system where you setup a bunch of mini affiliate sites and promote products through the various affiliate networks. Ex. Amazon affiliates, commision junction, shareasale. Its a good model however I never really made much from this system. Its kind of a dying way to market online.

Blogging with John Chow is a system designed to teach you how to make a blog from scratch. More or less how to become a big blog branded to you. This is more designed for someone who wants one blog and not 100 mini blogs.

In my opinion Blogging with John Chow, although it will take more time, is going to be a better way to go forward. There are other programs that are really good for beginners.

Reverve attack marketing and one week marketing are both really good programs by Jennifer ledbetter and could easily help you get one your feet.
