Help:

I know how to do almost everything on the net - well almost

I need someone to take me step by step through the affiliate marketing process.
I've bought the courses, now I just need someone I can talk to (or at least email)
TO push me

You must be proficient in picking good keywords, good programs, traffic generation (SEO)
etc

I just want a simple step by step method (or do you know a program)

more that that I need YOU there to push me and keep me going.

So in other words, you're looking for a mentor.

And you're offering what in return?

    Just curious.

Sounds to me like the description of a boss....and a job.

      I've bought the courses
Then you have the step by step - start at the beginning and follow the steps.

You need someone to motivate you??????

What's your motivation for wanting to succeed in the first place?

People who succeed in this business, are self motivators.

if you have the courses, you should begin following the step by step.

    Hope This Helps!!

Not needing that kick in the ... is what separates the boss from the employee. When you work for yourself - you're your own boss. YOU are the one to kick yourself in the butt.

I have found that as my own boss I work much harder than I ever did for another boss.

    Kim,

Rather than going with a mentor, do some soul searching about what methods interest you. You can do this...you really can.
There a lot of methods out there. What do you want to start with?

Some of the popular methods involve:
    Pay Per Click
    Blogging
    Article Marketing
    Twitter
    And others....

Think about which methods you want to start with....There is no wrong way to start. Some things will work for you and others won't. The only way you'll know is to take action. There's no magic pill and you have to put in a decent amount of effort no matter which method you start with.

This forum is a goldmine of information which can be overwhelming but if you set aside a few hours and go through some of the posts, you will find out a wide variety of methods that you can follow step by step.

No need to rush things....Do the research and then when you are ready....just....START!

naah. if you cant get going then you do not know where you want to go.
find out where you want to be, then look at the steps you would need to take to get there, and start walking.
    really easy i promise.
or it is possible that the courses that you bought were inadequate.
    try chris farrell or profitlance.
or pm me when i launch my flea market guide next week i will give you a warrior forum special.

Procrastistagnification is a very common and highly communicable disease. It is far worse than anything I have got and is even worse than a 'bad back' (when everybody knows you are skiving!).

    So, what's the cure?

Certainly a well delivered kick up the arass might help and maybe some of the well intentioned comments above will help a little as well.

I suggest that now that you recognise the problem, it is time for you to heal yourself.

Make a time table of small items that you have to do in the next seven days. Don't get ambitious and try to build an online empire, just aim for small increments in production. Maybe your first item could be to unsubscribe from all those lists you are on. (This is Kevin's advice in his Success Manifesto and, believe me, you don't realise how time consuming your in box is and how it can con you into thinking you are working.)

The second item will be to find something that you can concentrate on and succeed at within, say, 20 minutes. Then just build by small increments.

You know what you want to achieve and it sounds like you know how to achieve it - all you need to do now is put that first foot forward and ensure the other one follows.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more

Think about what you want to acheive first. Are you looking for a full time or part time income. Are you willing to give up your job and start full time are are you hoping to do work in your spare time. Internet Marketing requires committment and is very very time consumsing but the rewards can be beneficial in the long term. But before you do anything think about your goals, then come back to the forum here.

This post looks like a Classified ad.

Do you need someone to motivate you, or someone to show you how to put the pieces together to make money? Or both?

    Little more clarification needed.

Sounds to me like you're suffering from "information overload"...I've been there.

Chances are, if you've bought all the products, read all the books, you're just too overwhelmed to get started because there are too many options available to you.

My advice: pick one path and stick to it...see it through. You may or may not like it, but at least you can cross that off your list.

I'm trying to do it right now because I'm overwhelmed with social media: twitter, fb, blogging, forums...BLAHHHHH! So, for now, I'm just trying to tweet every day, and read through this forum daily as well...once I get in the habit of doing that, THEN I'll add facebook...THEN I'll add blogging....THEN I'll add article writing...

@Artwebster you have given me a great new word - Procrastistagnification!!

Kim, the best thing I found to get me started was the Desperate Buyers Only guide on here...there is a link for it on the forums page. It really does help you to get some focus to decide what to do. I got it a while ago and now have 3 very good blogs running and two products in the pipeline. Before this I was reading a lot of information and not taking any action.

    Hope that helps!

It's a good book Keith but I think reading another ebook is the last thing that Kim needs to do now. She doesn't need another excuse to procrastinate some more.

First of all stop buying all those courses or so called little secrets or whatever.
Secondly define your goals and direction.
Thirdly (Is there such a word?) Take action and formulate a plan from number 2 above.
And Fourth - Go forth and apply yourself and the plan to a business model of your choice!

Things will start to fall in place slowlly - unless ofcourse you are so deep in IOS that you have lost all sense of direction - in that case contact me

    Lol before anyone asks -

Pick what strategy you are going to do and how much time you are going to dedicate to it daily, don't buy anymore courses on any other strategies until you have finished what you are doing. Define what your rewards will be for achieving what you've set out to do and then just do it! :-)

  • Cookie Cutter works for the people selling cookie cutter. Everyone is not cut out for this type of work. People hate to hear that. Other people climb all over you for being "negative". But the reality is simple. While you may want to play for the Lakers you have to take a realistic look at your chances.

You have to find your own strengths and weaknesses and put them to work. Just because you have a computer and internet access doesn't mean this business is for you.

You really have to provide your own motivation.

This is the most important point. What do you need, and what can you pay for it (in time/money/resources/whatever)?

Motivation to work (harder) comes when you know there is
someone checking on you. At least, in my case I know I
would work harder. But when you working alone in your room
or basement, and the people around only want to know how
much money you are making, rather than asking you about
the tasks you have completed for the day, then finding the
motivation and energy to keep going becomes hard.

Exchanging emails with someone in the same field as you may
help. You can tell the person what tasks you intend to do for the
day, etc... in just a couple of lines, and that person replies you back
with a supportive reply in one or two line. So, you know there
is someone there who is checking on you.
