"How to make 10K per month ASAP - Done for you

I read all about the above promise and joined. I was told to pay $49 (to get rid of the tyre kickers) then one week later I found that in order to be a member of this association I had to pay over another $2000.00.

The fact that you have to later pay over such a large sum of money should be explained UPFRONT and for this reason I feel I have been badly mislead.

If the initial interpretation of what is expected of you was more honest and clearer I would have no discord with them but most definitely a bit more clarity would go a long way.

Was there anything on the sales page that mentioned further costs? Anything that mentions a refund if you decide not to go ahead? Have you asked for a refund?

I don't mind somebody charging a sort of "application fee" to separate the serious buyers from the not so serious, as long as all is explained clearly in the sales page.

Most offers have a money-back guarantee - go for it! Even if it was not stated I would still ask.
If that doesn't work, file a dispute with PayPal (you didn't pay by credit card I hope?), usually merchants respond very quickly to this type of complaint...

Surely that promise alone should have had alarm bells ringing. I mean, if it's "done for you" why would they need to sell it for $47? Even if it took just a small amount of effort on your part, they could have just outsourced the work, no?

I hope you learn from this, because the only thing worse than scam artists, is the people who buy into their crap..

Hmmm. I may be an ol' cynic, but if it seems to good to be true, it probably is to good to be true.

How do you think these people get rich? It's certainly not from the $49 upfront fee. Yes, these things are too good to be true, but many still fall for the hype.

Nobody is going to make 10k/mo for you. If you're not willing to put in work... HARD WORK... then you're not going to get anywhere. People are attracted to making money online and "business opportunities" because they're lazy. When you own a business, you work harder than you do if you had a job, that's for sure.

There's plenty of information on this very forum, that can allow you to make however much you want, it really just depends on you and your ability to grind it out and push through.

      This is the truth !

I hope you learned a valuable lesson.

Most of what you need to learn, you can learn in the threads here in the WF (how to build a list, get traffic, etc.) YouTube also has some really good videos where you can learn lots of various tips and tricks for making money online.

There really is no substitute for Hard Work and trying, experimenting, failing, succeeding by your own efforts. It`s the best way to learn anything. How does one get really good at playing the piano, or performing a perfect spinning back kick, or changing the spark plugs in a car ? By actually doing it !

Lol this one is TOTALLY on you OP.

Did you REALLY think someone would give you an asset producing $10,000 a month for $49?

        Really?

Even further, let's say it DID cost you $2,000... so what? If the asset was producing $10k/month than you just hit the motherload and made back 5 times your money in the first month!

        Lol. Just lol.

It used to be much higher than $2,000 for the "done for you" option. I expect the $2,000 fee does not include the "done for you" service.

It costs because the money you pay not only goes to the seller of the service but he has to spend a lot building the "done for you" system.

You don't have to hire someone to build the businss for you. You could build it yourself over time.

There is an advantage to having someone who has already built the business to build one for you. But that costs a lot of money.

The seller is a well known mentor with many succesful students. In addition to coaching, he offers the "done for you" option where you pay much more but instead of coaching you, he actually builds it for you.

I dont think you have been stupid in your thoughts that risking $49 to see if it really works is worth it. I imagine it isn't something that is going to break the bank too much, even if it does mean no takeaways for the month or a trip out with the family this weekend.

Obviously though you cant go spending money on things that give you no return, otherwise you would be best just giving it to a worthwhile cause and at least take comfort in the fact you are helping other peoples lives that need it.

I would ask for your money back to start with, legitimate businesses will have no problems doing this and if they do then its just a good job you didn't pay that extra $2,000.

If they won't then if it was PayPal you paid through you can submit for a refund inside the dashboard inside 60 days with no questions asked.

I applaud you for putting some skin in the game at least, investing in your business and taking some form of action.

Its true you can find out 99% of online business through searching online, spending time on forums and building relationships with people that are doing what you want to do.

The downfall is having to know where to start, understanding differences in opinion will crop up, and how to dissect them so you can keep moving forward.

This is why 97% of people starting out online fail, because they waste hours not knowing where to start, go seeking others for direction and get sent down the wrong path. Now some have the attitude well all it cost was a few hours of my time so no big deal, I never lost any money, but to me thats the wrong attitude.

Time is worth much more than money, and once you realise that then you have a genuine reason to want to work online, where time doesn't have a value on it, you don't have an hourly rate, or if you do it is a lot of money.

Thats why if you can afford $2k for training that will get you to where you want to be months quicker than working without spending money then take it.

Even if it gets you to $2k per month 2 months quicker than working alone to find the answer, your $2k up overall and probably a whole lot less stressed too.

Thats why you were right to invest what you thought was right instead of going looking for free, and thats why if you can you should invest further to grow quicker, with less stress and ultimately make money back on that investment you otherwise wouldnt.

Yes it does look like this opportunity went about things wrongly and probably is best you get the refund and leave it for a more transparent option, but still look to invest in yourself and your business.

$10k per month done for you for an investment of $49 probably would ring alarm bells, but $10k per month for an investment of $2k probably sounds a good deal, and it likely is, but be sure to understand what it guarantees and what they expect from you now and in future in forms of investment and work entailed to achieve this.

Hope that helps and you enjoy the success you want sooner rather than later.

There is a simple answer, for $49 nobody would, but for $2k absolutely, just because a system makes me $10k does not mean copying that system will cost me any profit if somebody else uses it to and makes $10k. Basically we both make $2k.

I could take anyone of my websites, copy them entirely in system and content, have them edited so they are branded differently all within a few hours with outsources and for $100 and they would be live online for you with 5 minutes work from me.

I could then send you a digital training on traffic creation so you can get targeted traffic that will make you the promised $10k.

That will be the part that is expected of you anyway as for how long would the $2k arrangement be for, its not going to be for life for $2k unless it was a monthly $2k of which there would be no problems more cash and profit!

The system is done and set up for you and you have paid me $2k for minutes work minus my $100 cost.

You could even take yourself out of the equation altogether and have a VA handle the clients that buy.

No work just 95% on each one!

If you wouldn't want to run a business that earns you that sort of profit then I think there must be something wrong with you.

You still make the $1.2 over 10 years and life is all rosy as you have some $2k cheques too.

:facepalm at the people who think if OP paid the $2k he would get the $10k per month as advertised.

If this happens to someone they should just dispute the charge immediately and link the sales page to the dispute for whomever the payment processor is. paypal, master card, etc..

    So what lesson you learned?
    1. There is no golden egg or magic beans.
    2. You pay $49 for the guide. So you were not mislead, because they sold you the information on how to do it.
    3. It shows you why there is so many e-books and gurus.
    4. Embrace yourself you learned something for $49. There is people that invest thousands and still haven't learned one single thing.
    5. Welcome to IM.

A business will need something to work. Otherwise, why would someone sell it to you?

If it was a kind of passive income and you had nothing to do, they wouldn’t need your participation in any point.

You will probably have to do a lot to drive traffic to your offers, pay ads, etc. This is why they are selling this business, and not investing on it themselves.

I don't want to sound like a 'blowhard' when I say this, so please don't take it personally (this goes for anyone).

When you first read the introduction, red flags should've flown before your eyes. Are the people posting these ads actually making $10,000 per month? No. Psychologically, however, they make millions. It's a mind game; inflate numbers beyond a believable amount, and the general consensus will bite. By the time they've suckered 500 people into paying $50 each, they've made $25,000 - and you've got an expensive piece of digital toilet paper.

Gluttony leads to irrational decision making. Make bite-sized decisions, drop the desire for 'quick money', and doors will open up you never thought possible.
