Best Article Writing Services

Warriors!

I've got a niche site that needs some fresh new content.

Which sites should I take a look at to outsource some
quality work?

So far I'm looking at..

Articlez(dot)com and Elance(dot)com

Any other suggestions or are these good? Leave your
suggestions/recommendations/experience you've had
below!

There are so many great options out there, depending mostly on your budget and the level of quality you need. I am a writer, and I can write your content, but I won't blatantly advertise that in your thread LOL.

But, best options would be the Warriors for Hire section here, or you can also go to iWriter. If you go to oDesk or Freelance, you'd need to wait for a bit of time to find the right writer as you would have to interview and ask for a sample and things like that.

I'd personally go and hire one of the providers in the Warriors for Hire section, mainly because most of them already have reviews posted in their threads that would help you know more about the service level being provided.

At least you won't be groping blind such as when you use services like iWriter, where you'd have to wait until the provider submits the request, hoping that it meets your standards. If not, you'd have to wait some more as you wait for another writer to fill your request, and so on.

iwriter is a bad option as their services are not reliable. Very often their servers are down. You also dont get to know when their mood may change and they may withold the hardearned money you have taken efforts to earn

My vote goes with using a service like Odesk. I always find great writers for good prices there. The key for me is having a good interview process and only using native English writers.

I have came across some writing gigs at fiverr and you can check there too. Most of the writing gigs are good. The one I had a look was - write a 400 Word Article at Your Topic or Niche - fiverr . You can check it. There are many more though. You have got wide range of choices there.

    Odesk.

Fiverr is good but only if you're looking for relatively short (300-500) word articles. For more longer ones you're better off checking something like Odesk IMO

Try Fiverr. Lots of 800 to 1000 word deals there for $5. Check the reviews and read the gig descriptions VERY CAREFULLY.

I started my road down content writing on Elance, although I never dabbled with the cheap clients (there are also some that will try and pull a fast one on you, whether it be the client or the freelancer themselves). But that's why Escrow is there, you could also even just consider a service from here on WF.

I know I happen to provide one

    Hiya Chris,

Your best option would be to hire me. yes yes it may sound a bit needy, but why not have your article written from someone you know rather than place it in a blank zone and not knowing who will do your work?

Fiverr is good. I'v used this guy a few times

write A 400 Word SEO Article In 24 Hours - fiverr

He's from Yorkshire in the UK (like me) and actually delivers SEO articles. He has a good writing style as well.

I would also use the extra as well, as it's pretty useful.

But, you can use freelancer, or there is a section in this very forum which has article writers.

    I recommend iWriter.

Though others like Elance are equally great, I have not tried those.

If you want quality - Odesk, if you need a good price - Fiverr but take your time when picking the seller (check their feedback etc). There are some golden nugets on Fiverr, but it is not easy to find them!

You can hire quality writers around here on WF. In terms of freelance sites, I use oDesk.

However, be real careful when using oDesk. You can find horrible people at that place (client/freelancer). And while I'm satisfied with what I paid for, their communication is often horrible and I'm always left with these broken promises from my unresponsive freelancers. If that's the quality of their services, I'm not surprised they get paid so low compared to normal freelance rates. But, there are some pretty great quality there. It takes time to find the right ones but it's all worth it in my opinion.

At the end of the day, you want quality articles. There are some good writers right here on the WF (like ME for example). Let me know if you need help and we can start with ONE article, and we'll take it from there. No pressure. I've seen providers with loads of reviews on some of those outsource sites, who can't write. For the life of me, I don't know HOW they get these reviews. Weird.

I have found great writers at Elance.com. I also like to use INeedArticles.com - Quality Articles at Affordable Prices @ iNeedArticles.com, which has native English writers and is very inexpensive. You can't work directly with the writer, so you get what you paid for. But at $2.80 for 400 words, I'm fine with editing it to my liking.
If I were looking for new writers now, I would consider looking at the people posting here as they most likely understand SEO.

I've had some descent articles written by ineedarticles, but lately it's been a crap shoot. Worst part is, there's no accountability if there's a poorly written article. Agree with you on sticking with Elance or even iWriter at least there's feedback in the way of a re-write or refund if the article sucks.

Been trying for 2 weeks to get a response from them on some articles I paid a premium for that were either: written by non-native speakers, written robots, or written by a spinner. I even had one that was plagerized.

I might be a little biased here since I write content myself (cough, cough).

But always use native English speakers to do your writing. You'll get a lot of lowball bids from people in India and other countries who will write articles that are readable at best.

Ordering articles from ghost writers can be a pain in the ass. On top of that, the quality can be quite bad while paying $5 and even more per article. The best option is to hire someone on odesk.com, however most of those contractors are also not very reliable workers (from my own experience)

I would stay away from Fiverr. After the site's cut, the author is only getting $4. how motivated do you think they can be?

Odesk/Elance is better, but you have to very carefully vet the candidates. Of course, this takes time.

You may check out Warriors For Hire

Just make sure ask for their sample work, if you're happy with their sample and other buyer feedback/comment, then place a small quantity order with them to test their work before place bulk order.

By doing so, you may find a few writers that's up to your expectation which you may engage with them for long term deal..

All I can say is that no matter where you get your articles written from, always check them out over at copyscape.

Granted it's a little extra cost, but when you find that article that is %50 copy and pasted from somewhere else that could cause you problems in the long run you will be glad you did.

    Just my 2 cents.

There are so many freelancing market place. why you are thinking about the freelancer. How many good freelancer do you need? If you need the Native speaker, you may need to pay high rate, on the other hand if you hire others freelancer with good command, you can pay him low rate. Beside Articlez(dot)com and Elance(dot)com, you can take a look on the Warriors of hire section, Odesk, vworker, fiverr, freelancer or, something like these.

I recommend to hire in-house writers as you have to train the writer how to write from SEO point of view like what should be Title, headings, paragraphing, keywords density etc and sometimes you need the writer for urgent work So better to hire in-house

There are many online writers forums where you could place a wanted to buy advertisement asking for a professional writer. Pick a writer who has a good portfolio and resume of work, rather than someone who is just starting out. You will pay more for a professional writer, but the results will produce far more money than a five dollar article from any site.

You would be surprised what you can find on Fiverr, writing wise. We went through about 10 of them and found 2 absolute gems. No, I won't be giving out their names I'm sorry.

The good writers however don't charge $5 for 500 words. They do a smaller word count for that price but still very much worth it.

The key to getting good articles apart from the writer chosen is clear and concise instructions. Simply giving a writer your keyword you want the article on really isn't good enough.

Tell them the tone you want, information you want in the article and examples of good articles you like. Obviously this requires a degree of research on your end which most people can't be bothered to do and then whinge about poor quality writers.

You can use any site to hire an expert freelancer, it is not important which site you are using to hire a freelancer. Before hiring a freelancer you should see the freelancer's previous work history & feedback. You will be able to identify which freelancer is really expert by viewing his or, her previous work report. Thanks a lot.

But also look at "iWriter(dot)com" as you can get 500 word article in less than $2.

Another way is to use "PLR" content and use a spinner to make it unique, but use these content for 2nd tier link building scheme.
