Anyone use 2 skype accounts on same computer?

I have two skype accounts. I'm using Win7 and trying to get two different skype shortcuts on my desktop. I want each shortcut to be able to open and auto login to a specific account.

I've searched and found how to have two accounts and have them running on the same time on same computer but that's not what I need.

Is anyone doing what I'm trying to do?

Thanks

Ron

  • I've had once a situation similar to yours, but i've just found how to log in into the two accounts at the same time but not log in automatically. I don't this is doable with skype.
  • yes it is possible. Search on google.
  • 1) Press Windows + R on yourkeyboard...
    2) Type in - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /secondary"

(Assuming you're on 64 bit... Assuming yes)...

  • I did not use t skype ID at same time from one computer. It was my believe, that One software will not be able to use two IDs at same time.
  • As I know it's possible because I saw a tut on net few months ago.
Normally I am using 1 account on my PC and have plan to run another Skype acc from RDP/VPS
    best of luck mate
  • In my case, I am using VMware with installed guest OS. So, I can login to my 2 skype accounts at the same time.

    • This wins. That's all there is to it.
    • Thanks as I said I did a search and found this before I posted but it wasn't what I was looking for.

You still need to log into the secound account and a few more issues.

But no biggie, I'll get by
