F*ck Google, use related forums, communities, blogs and social media. And of course CPC if you have some money to spend on it.

Do the Google stuff later, as it will take much longer, and competition is high in that niche.

Many senior citizens would be interested in a pharmacy site that offers their meds at lower prices and can deliver to their home.

Perhaps advertise in off-line newspapers and magazines for senior citizens ?

You could always buy email lists and spam them? That's how I always see them. Seriously, joining forums would be where I would start. Make sure to find out what's allowed wherever you decide.Might be against the terms of service for many regular channels (which is why I get spammed by them)

If you have no money see post #10...

BUT... If you have the money you could buy a membership to Compete.com and reverse engineer where your Pharmacy site (or any Pharmacy site) gets it's traffic. That would actually be my first move if I had the inclination to promote a pharmacy.

Final note: This is just a guess, but I would have to imagine you'd find many adult sites sending traffic to pharmacies.

Try to avoid competition, US market is highly competitive, if you focus on organic search and content I suggest you to translate into other languages (not English) I saw amazing results in Pharmacy German, Italian, Spanish and France, once you translate unique content even with simple WP websites you will see the traffic follows.

You can create related back link. Such as related Forum, related blog commenting. By which one can reach to your site easily. there is no alternative way except SEO. You also can do some social media post, Article submission, bookmarking & so on. Try these, your site will be promoted easily. Thanks

Don't spam forums with your links as most forums will instantly ban you for linking to a pharmaceutical site. No one appreciates those pharm spam.

I believe, you begin with forum, blogs, PPC, social media, guest posting and also SEO. First start promoting your site with these sources, you will surely get instant results.

Look at doing some blog ads, but watch your money.

  We host several pharmacies and have to deal with neverending spam\abuse\copyright complaints against them. Well I think this shows their ways of promotion - yet they are able to pay their bills, which means they DO get some income - yet succeeding in this niche takes A TON of nerves and efforts.
