the mic that chris farrel uses

Hey guys i know this is kinda off topic but i just wanna ask if any of you know the make and model of the microphone that chris farrel uses in his videos. I noticed the small mic attached to his shirt and there's some cords going to his back. I love the quality of the sound it gave. I'm planning to buy one so that i can use it for my video blog.

Does anyone know the brand, model and price?

Thank you.

He is probably not going to answer him directly. He probably gets HUNDREDS of support tickets each week.

Well unless someone has stood very close to Chris Farrel (I have no idea who he is btw) then it's unlikely anyone on here will know exactly what mic setup he uses.

From my experience Chris will be happy to answer.

Of course, in addition to the mic, one needs to work on having a cool British accent.

There's no way of knowing for sure, but he has previously used the Undercover Spam 5000.

Yes, it's the brainfart 2000 and he uses the Homer Simpson model.

It's kind of a Lavalier Mikrofon! Just have a look at google and you'll find some good ones!

I don't know the model Chris uses. But here are three very good lavalier microphones.

Audio-Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
Giant Squid Audio Lab Omni Mono
      Rode LAVALIER Condenser Microphone,

I own the Audio Technica and the Giant Squid Audio Lab and they both have excellent sound as well as being very inexpensive. The Rode is more expensive. The advantage of the Giant Squid Audio Lab microphone is that it doesn't need a battery. A disadvantage is that some recorders need a self powered microphone. The two recorders I mention below work well with the Giant Squid Audio Lab microphone.

I use them with a Tascam DR-05 Portable Digital Recorder. A friend of mine uses the Audio-Technica with the Zoom H1 and he swears by that combo.

You can find a lot of reviews of lavalier mic's on Youtube. I like Curtis Judd's channel. His reviews are pretty good.

Here is one of his reviews comparing the above three along with two more microphones.

I have found that a Sure microphone gives excellent sound if a little expensive to buy.
I need quality as my voice is not the best in the world.

His accent and voice tone help the cause. He has a naturally deeper voice.

I am also a fan of the Audio Technica. I use the AT-2020 USB.

It's not just the mic that has made Chris very successful but other factors that put him in the top league. Chris is a well organized person with precision planning. I've seen some of his IM videos and the guy is cool with the walk and talk. Even his dogs have style!
