Looking for Advice/Strategy for email campaign

A friend and I created our own server for bulk emailing and we are looking to use email lists that we gained over the years. We may exchange list as well to build on them but haven't decided.

Lets say for example: we have a list of about 1 million users in the poker/sports betting niche.

I am looking for some neat campaign ideas we could run to these active emails. I am apart of an affiliate program for revenue share but that requires active and good players and out of the million, not sure if i can get solid players out of the list.

So any other ideas of how to capture these guys for maximum profit? I looked into CPA and other offer type deals but can't tie in a good strategy with it.

Any other ideas would be great, our email list isn't just poker, we have huge lists in many categories or can get our hands on them so we just need ideas to grab the largest profit from them.

    You can't get "active and good players" out of a mailing list of a million?

    Maybe you need to dump that list and start over by driving traffic to a landing page to build your list that way.

    Because if I have a list of a million peeps, 7 figures can be had.

    I have a combined list of over 200,000 subscribers and garner a very nice income from this... but, this list was build from my own efforts, driving traffic to my squeeze/landing pages and getting their permission to email them.
