Any Hope with ClickBank now?

I'm sure it's possible to make money selling ClickBank merch but I personally have decided to make and sell my own products (while working for clients on the side).

The idea of hawking someone elses merch for them (besides dropshipping) I don't like. Some would argue that ClickBank is exactly dropshipping but that's not true. If you start your own dropshipping venture you can decide on the profit margin yourself. ClickBank (from what I can tell) is just another middle-man taking a percentage of money that would otherwise go to you, AND they are taking a cut from the merchandiser. It's not the same as dropshipping.

Also, if you have the ability to create even one product and sell it yourself, you take 100% profit.

The amount of energy put into making websites that will hit keywords, drawing customers, and selling them on the product is almost as much as would be involved in making your own product.

Then dropship. Again, the energy put into being a success with ClickBank affiliate sales could be put towards promoting/selling through your own dropship site. And again, you would see the profit directly instead of being middle-manned.


In my honest opinion ClickBank is just another method of sucking people who are interested in dropshipping and don't know it - into another middle-man scheme.

The one thing they offer that I really appreciated (yes I've tried all of this) is the guide on setting up Lead Captures, Front End Offers and Back End Offers. Selling multiple products to the same customer through increasing levels of trust (you MUST provide value at each stage) is pretty brilliant. But again... you could utilize all of this without ClickBank.

Clickbank is just a marketplace with a bunch of products that you can sell and make money, so nothing wrong there.

The real issue is which products to choose and how to promote them. If you have a good marketing plan in place, clickbank can make you rich. So, focus on the marketing plan, no on whether or not CB is good.

P.S - Don't just go by product gravity while choosing a product. There are other factors too. There are hundreds of threads here on Cb, read them and then take action.

Of course there is, if you dont like it sign up for JVZOO's or Amazons affiliate programs. The blood of making money online is affiliate marketing or selling your own products. Start off with affiliate marketing first. If you need education you can buy courses like

- Screw 9-5
etc....

I've been making money with clickbank for years, yes it still works, just like with anything you have to know what you are doing.

Weight loss products in clickbank are still worth to promote and keep pace with the clickbank's new mobile platform Pytch.

Despite of all the changes going online in recent years, I will say Clickbank is still the best place to get started.

Especially for newbies wanting to make $ online.

You might consider signing up for Clickbank University course by Adam Horitz and Justin.

That will give you a better understanding and clear whatever doubts you might have about the program.

For making money with ClickBank, you need targeted traffic to monetize with the CB.

Like any other affiliate program, you will need to get traffic to it on a daily basis.

You just have to make sure that the traffic you are buying is of good value.

Pay per click ads on Google/Yahoo/Bing is a good start. Never use the smaller pay per click companies because their quality of traffic is very poor.

Use banner ads.

Find some high traffic websites and advertise there too.

ClickBank is a great way to make money online.

A popular business model right now is the combination of selling ClickBank products using YouTube and video marketing. If you find a decent course on that business model and apply what you learn, you should be able to make a nice monthly income from that business model alone.

Actually I don't have any luck with Clickbank. I hate their dormant account and payout policies. If you did not made sales from 5 different payment methods than you are not be eligible for payments however if you have hundred of dollars in your account. Lastly if you not meet this requirement they will deduct money from your account for account dormant policy and make it zero. So, Lastly You will never get paid.

I use ClickBank as a payment processor. I add my own products, sometimes good PLR, to my own websites. I use Easy ClickMate to control the downloads etc. This means I can put up to 500 products into one clickbank account.
It also means I can vary the price for individual affiliates if they request this just by adding the product at a different price.
Another thing is I can set up the same product twice with Easy ClickMate. The reason for this is I can set up the product the first time so the affiliate can send visitors to my site with a hoplink.
The other reason is I can put the ClickBank product as the link to the clickBank payment page in Easy ClickMate so the visitor is taken direct to the ClickBank payment page.
This is ideal if the Affiliate has his own website. I actually sell complete websites on Flippa with my ClickBank products installed and all the buyer has to do is drive traffic to the websites. I can sell the websites cheaply on Flippa as I make money from the 40% commission I receive. All my affiliates get 60% commision. I sell most of my ClickBank websites for about $49. I'm still making several hundreds per month from Clickbank so I'm sure it s still working. I'm still promoting the same products I promote several years ago. Sales has dropped but still worth trying.

I'd say Clickbank is still a very lucrative marketplace... but as others have said, you need to look beyond the gravity/$ per sale when you look for products to promote. Instead, look at the sales letter or video...Is it convincing? Does it convert? Does it practically sell the product for you?

Remember, your job isn't to sell the product. Your job is to bring the traffic and let the product sell itself to the right audience.

Clickbank was cool once, 6-7 years ago...

Clickbank has huge potential as well as jvzoo. You just have to find your niche and get traffic to your offer. It takes time but it pays off.

Yes although the WAY you market the offer is the key.

Clickbank itself does not do anything to help you get sales it is a payment platform with loads of affiliates!

If you know how to market then you will be successful with Clickbank or any product.

The thing is to move away from gravity as an indicator - that just tells you how many affiliates are making sales it doesn't mean you will.

In short if you know how to find a niche, market to the niche - you will make money and i would say to create your own products.

You can make good money with Clickbank but I would learn how to market online.

You need to send good quality traffic to what ever you are promoting.

Its not weather Clickbank is any good or still working its whether the individual products within Clickbank are any good. And this argument could be said for any product ever made.

Choose a good product and you have a chance of making money but just a good product alone will not make you money but rather the way you promote that product.

But to answer your question in black and white, "Yes Clickbank works" well at least for me if my bank deposits from them are anything to go by.

Click bank is still working very well. If you get creative and work hard you can make a lot of money.

Does selling products work? Yes, it does and always will.

Clickbank is just a marketplace that has products on it. So the question is not does clickbank work. It doesn't matter what marketplace you use, it's the products you are selling not the marketplace.

It doesn't matter what the product is. If you dont know how to market what you're selling, you will eventually run into the same roadblock time and time again. Clickbank is still hot... along with Paydotcom and JVzoo. Learn how to get tons of targeted leads, get them to love your content, then wait for them to buy.

I have recently been sourcing products for placement in my website and one of the market places I have been sourcing from is Clickbank, but it has been a pain in the backside to find what I am looking for in there.

Apart from the products made by sellers I already know, I actually find it difficult and time consuming to sift through the BS for a decent product.

I have been choosing to keeping an eye on launch groups and JV websites, so I can see what it coming out that is new and is working now.

That said, if you want an evergreen product like teaching your parrot to talk or your dog to break dance, you will most likely find that on Clickbank.

Marketing online is a skill set, but creating your own product is another skill set, as is setting up a delivery funnel for the products and services sold. What Clickbank does is help a new marketer by eliminating the need to immediately learn or manage three different disciplines, allowing them to concentrate on only the affiliate marketing part.

This makes it much simpler to get started and keep going in making money online, and while there are more options now, the formula CB created is still viable and helpful. Many marketers naturally move on to creating their own products and funnels eventually, either through CB or based on custom arrangements they later learn to set up.

As it continues to grow and people continue to use it to sell new products and recruit affiliates, I would say now is as good a time as ever.

As mentioned above, it's just a payment processor/affiliate platform. Don't limit yourself to just one network. Search on sites like Odigger.com to find offers from many different affiliate platforms.

Yes it works, but how will you drive the traffic?

Everything depends on traffic. If you know how to drive quality traffic with either SEO or Paid Traffic, you can surely make good revenues.
