Give me some ideas. I want to target the soccer world cup 2014

I needs some suggestions to target the next soccer world cup 2014. I have a site on soccer. I have added some affiliate links from Booking.com .

Now I want to know more about other affiliate sources I should apply on my site.

For example, I want to do soccer streaming affiliation. Could you guys give me some reliable names?

    For World Cup 2014. You need to make a research at Europe, instead of USA. Because the soccer is not popular at USA. Most USA folks don't know about the World Cup 2014.

    I think Youtube would be the way to go... making al kinds of videos, from reviews, updates, etc.

    And although I don't really like to promote Amazon because I can't really find products that I like to promote there, I think that soccer products will be hot sales during the world cup.

    I'd probably go the route of betting sites if you can get accepted on their affiliate programs. Places like bet365, ladbrokes, william hill, betfred, paddy power all have affiliate programs so perhaps you could give tips before each round of games and link to one of those.

    I would call it Football not soccer as someone else mentioned its not very popular in America compared to other countries where its a huge thing, and I think only in America we call it that.

    Id agree with bigdaddycool betting sites are pretty huge for football fans in some areas especially in asia... SBObet is one of them and there are many other other betting sites using SBObet keyword that could offer something... not to mention most betting sites make a lot of money which can trickle down to affiliates.

    Since the World Cup is very big in many nations, I would thing not just about soccer items but national items. Perhaps being an affiliate (amazon or otherwise) for some national products would help I am thinking specifically of things such as hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, flags, mugs etc. I would think that sales of Brazil's flags and apparel will go way up when they make the finals!

    Actually the USA has an absolutely huge market, especially if you're pushing some TV streaming affiliate sites. I made huge money in 2006 and 2010. I pushed adwords ads across the globe, and 95% of my money came from the United States - people wanting to watch different world cup matches but didn't have access in their own language.

    I do'nt know where people have lived all these years, but why on earth do people keep saying "soccer" isn't popular in the US??

    They have the larger fan base in Brazil this year with 155K tourists visiting for the world cup.

    So yeah definately don't target US people

      Every world cup there is always something that a player does that stands out and becomes the talk of the town all over the news and media... i.e. when Mario Balotelli scored those goals and took his shirt off...

      You need to stay on top of all the big games and wait for the moment (... and it will come) when something controversial happens... i.e. a fight, a riot, a never-seen-before goal, etc then make t-shirts on teespring about it and market the shirt to the right demographic...
