Create landing/squeeze pages without wordpress

Hi all

Does anyone has "toolsets" that would create landing/squeeze pages without wordpress? This needs to be self-hosted ...

- no to wordpress (optimizepress etc.)
- no to a web service (unbounce, leadpages, instapage etc.)

I guess I am asking for a drag-and-drop landing/squeeze page builder that would allow one to export the result into html(html5) for uploading to your own webhost. Yes, definitely a paid option in this respect.

Any ideas?

    Just create your own using a free HTML editor (Kompozer or Nvu). Feel free to open up my squeeze page below in an editor and use it as a template if that helps.

    Once edited just upload the HTML file to your hosting account.

    NVU rocks, I'm using it quite frequently (for my thankyou/download/bonus pages), however, I'm not using for creating my squeeze page. If you know html and css, Notepad is the only software you need

      I second that. People often don't realize how simple html is, especially squeeze pages. All you need is a good template, notepad and fill in the blanks.

    I'm thinking you will need a website builder. There are a ton of them online. I personally only have experience with yahoo sitebuilder, and site solution.
