Membership Site Complete. Now what?

So I built a membership site, but now it's just sitting here waiting to be used. How do I start attracting members?

I would like to have a base of free users first since the site is largely centered around the forum and social network aspect. There is also a series of video tutorials.

The site falls within the IM industry/market.

    Usually you have a free option then option to upgrade for $$ to allow access to a private area with more products, tutorials, videos etc.

      Thanks Anne! I just have to figure out how to configure that with OptimizeMember if I end up going that route.

      Hey Robin, sorry but what exactly do you mean by start running with that? My sig is a link to my blog and that post is sort of geared towards building a list (which is a bit slow in its growth rate atm)

    What works to get 2000+ for a blog should get 2000+ to visit your membership site. If you get them to show up, that's half the battle, just convince them of the value and sign them up.
