Amazon Reviews Terms And Service

Question...

...is it okay to copy and paste reviews from
Amazon products on Amazon affiliate websites?

For example, if I'm writing a review about a
product on Amazon, and I link to that product,
and my review contains a handful of reviews,
is that okay to do and if so, what are it's terms
of service/guidelines?

thx

Are you serious about this question

In your signature you are promoting a amazon product but you do not know their Terms of Service.

I know you can not promote your signature or product at amazon.com but that is the place to get your answer

So you came in here to do...

      ...what exactly?

Waste your time you could be spending
making money instead of trying to make
me look like a fool for asking a question...

...because YOU feel I should already know?

      Please.

Mechanics with YEARS of experience ask
OTHER mechanics how to approach a problem
      all the time.

CEO's ask board members for a vote on a
      decision.

Unlike you, I don't have all the questions
and I'm not a know it all.

Therefore, the ONLY response I need is a
simple "Yes" or "No" and a link if available
to the information where I can look into it
      more myself.

      Not your sarcastic remarks.

CEO's ask board members for a vote on a

          Hi Joe,

I know it's NOT okay to do so on Squidoo (where a good part of the action is about promoting Amazon products). But then Squidoo has a prohibition against duplicate content.

And Google doesn't like it either.

So instead of simply copying and pasting reviews, I tend to summarize some of the key points mentioned in the reviews and then include the occasional excerpt as quotes.

I'm not sure about how this would work on our own websites, but somehow I think it will work better to do it in a similar way rather than copying and pasting.

Interesting question though. I might have to investigate (unless someone in the know will provide the answer right here...)
