Advice on content strategy

Hello everybody.
I'm coming from another country\language internet market so I don't have enough connections and experience in US market yet. And pardon my English.
I'm preparing US market personal finance\ credit cards web service for launch.
I will need high quality content for the site - mostly product categories descriptions\ product reviews\ comparisons. Then there will be a need for educational\informational blog post and Q&A section (this process will be ongoing).
I see a lot of offerings for content writings in 'for Hire' section but I'm not sure that I will get a content that that I need from content professionals - I understand that they are focused on creating 'easy to read', '100% native English', '100% CopyScape proof' content in large quantities.
Hiring a real 'writer' on the opposite will be too expensive and I don't need his writing skills, my goal is not a novel but a content.

What I need is someone who will take time to do a good research on the topic, make a comparison, stand in a customer shoos and write a meaningful piece of text. In most cases the text doesn't need a classic preamble and conclusion and it should be a written like a novel - only facts and analysis is what important. No SEO and no pushing to sell is needed.
So basically someone with a personal experience in US consumer credit cards with analytical skills and willing to spend time on the project will be a good match.
In another geographical market for similar job I hired a former bank clerk and really happy with a choice. Not sure if I can do the same in US.
If anyone has an idea what kind of candidate I should look for and were, I will appreciate it.

If you want to do some work yourself just google for PLR (private label rights) sources and then rework the material to fit your need. You can also google website content writers or look on fiverr.

From ^^this^^ I can tell that you know what kind of content you need. And, yes, you're right to avoid the "churner-outers". As cheap as they may be, they're a waste of your money because the quality is going to be so bad.

I'm not sure what your budget is... you mention that "real" writers are too expensive, but that's exactly what you need. You need someone who's going to put genuine time and talent into it. You don't necessarily have to bankrupt yourself buying good content, but you're going to have to be willing to spend more than the Fiverr, Odesk, etc. crowd charges.

If you're worried that a writer won't be able to live up to the sales pitch he's given you, simply ask to see some samples of his work. He won't write free stuff for you, but he'll be happy to point you towards articles, blog posts, etc. that he has already published. Look them over carefully. Check out the writing style, the facts the piece presents, and the way he ties it all together. If you'd be proud to put your name on that piece of content, you've found yourself a writer.

    Good luck!
