Has anyone else tried New WSO Sticky feature?

Hey Guys,

Just curious if anyone has tried Paid to Sticky their WSO with any decent results so far? It's a new feature so I don't expect much case study on it right now.

To share my results so far, I paid for a 24 hour slot starting from Fri 12pm with about 100 new views and no sales. $200 is quite a heavy sum for 24 hours wanted to see if it paid off for anyone's WSO.

Anyone else care to share their results so far?

Looking forward to the discussion, thanks!

I haven't personally, but since you are a member of the War Room...

I'm pretty sure someone just posted their results there with a Sticky post

I just don't think there is enough organic traffic in that forum anymore to warrant the $200 sticky fee. I think it would be tough to make profitable given only 24 hours at the top there.

I agree. A seller would be better off bumping their WSO several times when they can instead of shelling out $200 for 24 hours at the top.

Also, affiliates drive a lot of the sales here for many of the successful sellers and you just won't make that many sales from people browsing the forum unless your offer is truly outstanding and sparks an immediate demand.

Edited to add: Two sellers that come to mind who had no affiliate backing starting out but ended up making a ton of sales (and still selling) with their WSOs is Nick Chou and Christine Clayfield, but both of them are millionaires and provided proof of their earnings (no fake screenshot nonsense - I think Christine even made a video of her logging into her bank account). They both also have a genuine rags-to-riches story that just rings true and neither of them use a lot of hype. Straight shooters.

There isn't enough organic traffic anymore in that section to make a sticky worth it.

I've used the WF $100 banner ad tons of times, and have always recouped my cost, as well as made money on it. However, it seems unlikely that a sticky spot in the WSO section for 24 hours would have the same impact as a banner (which evereyone on the forum sees vs just in the WSO section). And at double the price, it doesn't seem reasonable.

I've become numb to the stickies in the main forum and other sub forums, so I skip right over them now. I found myself doing the exact same thing last time I popped into the WSO forum. Seeing that formatting break is like an automatic fast forward button in my mind.

          ^^^^^^ Same here.

I guess if they did so that the thread would stay on top in the non-sticky section, that would give much better results.

And better results for the seller = more money for WF owners.

I agree, doesn't seem to be well thought out. Why would anyone pay double for a fraction of the exposure?

Shoot...... I actually never thought of THAT.

WHY would one pay $200 to sticky a WSO when they could take the same 2 bennies and run a banner for 2days?

        Thanks for pointing that out.

I was gonna test the sticky but the economics (cost vs traffic) leans to the banners at the moment.

The sticky post in the WSO section are probably overpriced with $200:

Right now there are 4 of 4 slots available.
Seems to indicate that the ones who tried it
    had no success with it.

A few days ago I saw a few stickies from people who
usually buy banner slots. Looks like it did not even pay for them.

It's a good thing that sticky posts are offered but if
a WSO costs $20 and that lasts for about 48 of exposure
then a sticky for $200 should give at least 10 times the exposure.

The main problem: There is not enough traffic.

This also shows that traffic has been moving down recently

Solution to all this: The new owners should invest in some paid traffic.
That will result in many more people visiting the forums and as a result
WSO publishers will be more than happy to stand in line to snatch up
one of the sticky slots once in a while.

Didn't know about the WSO sticky post until just now! Sounds good
but yeah the organize traffic is probably not enough to make it feasible.

$200 is pretty steep so you'd want a fair bit of traffic for that investment..

If you had a killer free WSO with hot copy that plucked punters left right and center
then you could probably get a decent amount of optins.

All they have to do is remove the 'separating' red bar and let sticky post look like normal WSO. The old members here skip anything over the 'red' bar as that use to be the rules section that almost everyone have gone through atleast once. So we don't even 'see' above the red bar.

24 hours is pretty short to have good result I guess. It's like having a new offer bumped.
