JV Giveaways on the edge of extinction?

As the title states, I've been following a few list building courses and some of them mentioned JV giveaways.

I've been doing some searching for JV giveaways but the results came out dated 1 or 2 years back.

My question --- are they dead? or are there still people doing it?

    Jv giveaways are still going.

    But to get results you need to invest

    money otherwise your results will be poor.

    Lucky enough its not expensive but you must test your

    In my experience, JV giveaways are still alive and kicking. I use them frequently to build my list. If you get on with the right give away events, you can build your list. Just remember that most of those who do sign up in the JV Giveaways are "freebie seekers". So you will have to nurse and nourish those to persuade them to become buyers. You can move them to buyers, it just takes the right techniques. I know it takes time to do that, but I do it regularly.

    In order to build list with JV giveways, you need to do the following:

    1. Have quality product offer that people might be interested in. This includes having an attractive product cover and sign up page.

    2. Join the right giveaway events where a lot of traffic is likely to come.

    3. Send a lot of traffic to the JV giveaway. This has become a requirement as most giveaway owners want you to send traffic to them if you want your product to be displayed prominently on their site. The more traffic you drive, the higher up your product will show up among hundreds of other products so that people can see your offer and join your mailing list. If you simply submit a product to a giveaway event without bothering to drive lot of traffic, your product will be buried deep under hundreds of other products and you may not get many subscribers.
