I want to create several Sales Pages. Can I do it on 1 domain?

I want to create about 12 Sales Pages. Do I buy 12 domains? How do I create sub-domains or sub-directories?

If I buy Sales Page Templates, how do I link them to my website or domain?

Thanks

Yes, sub directories and sub domains..Plenty of people do this.

I would buy a generic domain if possible.

  • If you are going to register only one domain you could register something like:

    oetsman.com or oetsman.co.za

or maybe something relating to the general niche you are in. (if any).

Personally I prefer to register separate matching domain names for each product that we carry,
especially if the niches are not related. However, this will all depend on your budget.

What I would recommend (which is what I do)...

Is create a generic domain and attach OptimizePress or some type of similar plugin like FunnelKit.

Just make different pages for different sales letters.

Or, you can use the subdomain method as previously mentioned

Depends on the products your selling. If they cover a variety of niches, (are all different), then getting a domain for each would not be a bad idea. If they are related, create sub-directories.

Easy way to create sub directories is to use an FTP program, log into your website/hosting and create new folder. New folder same as a sub directory. Like www.yoursite.com/subfolder/ www.yoursite.com/subfolder2/

Others mentioned a generic domain, like ebooks.com instead of selfhelpebook.com. Not the best example, but one is targeted, the other is not.

Depends on what you want to do. Hard to answer the question.

What is an FTP program and must it be a WP site?

A FTP program is a computer product you use to upload and download files to your website/hosting. Transfers files from your home computer, to your website. Filezilla is a good one.

You could also use the file manager if you have cpanel, that will allow you to create sub folders as well. Although, it's good to know about FTP programs and how to use them.

Doesn't have to be a wordpress site, FTP programs upload just about any file, just about anywhere.

        Hello,

I'd like to say, it depends on the number of products. If you want to test mutiple sales pages for a product, I say that it is fine to put them on the same website.

Horewer, as you want to make something unique, if the products are different, I suggest you to choose different domain names,

You can get them for 0.99$.

Are these products covering different niches or not? It would be easier if we knew this information.

I'd just put them in sub-directories then.
