I have used Fiverr and it works good but it do not allow to sell services for more than $5.
Would like to get some suggestions from you guys.

...best for a buyer or best for a seller?

Forget about Fiverr for anything more than a ...well...$5 job. Not to sound sarcastic, but you really don't want to be developing complex software through fiverr, as an example.

So true. I've gotten some great videos there for a very good price, and I've gone back for more.

Really? I haven't tried that yet. Most of the advertising related gigs brought no detectible results, but maybe I didn't pick the right ones.

Good point (but it does depend on the job you're looking for). You can be much more specific and ask for what you want on Freelancer.

On the other hand, for some things Fiverr is great - and very fast. You just have to pick what you want and it's in the queue.

        That's from a buyer's point of view.

Both of the two Freelancing market place is good, top classes market place. I know the both sites very well. The terms & Conditions also differ from site to site. In the Fiverr, Freelancer choose multiple order, when the Rate is more than the $5.0 on the flip side Freelancer work rate may any amount. So in my personal view there is no best one. The two sites is in same position.

I think you'll get more customers with Fiverr, but you'll probably make more from Freelancer since you get more money for each order.

  • Depends.

My best advice is to look at that person's previous work/samples, ask previous clients and make an informed decision.

Some fiverr gigs are good and are worth it.
And not every freelancer's work is worth their fee.

Cheap workers on these sites are horrible in my opinion. There are some great ones but you'll realize that you actually do get what you pay for. Unless of course these "cheap" tasks have already been written above here. That would be worth it, in my opinion.

In regards of working through Fiverr and Freelancer, it's a good idea to avoid that unless you have a business that consists of cheaper freelancers.

I'd say Fiverr for anything you believe is worth $5. If you're interested in higher value, you'll have to spend more. SEOClerks is another winner in my opinion. You can pay both less and more than $5. That's the main reason I'm using it for outsourcing and social media related services.

You have to test and see what works for you. Look a the pros and cons of both.

Fiverr is much easier to get customers, but then all your efforts must be worth than $5. On the plus side, once you become a level 1 seller and upwards then you can offerr gig extras and make way more then $5.

They can work hand in hand. Fiverr can be a really great way to find clients for your outsourcing. It's really helped me land jobs outside of Fiverr because of buyers I've helped.

both of the Fiverr & freelancer is top classes freelancing market place. but the rules & regulations of Fiverr & freelancer is differ from one to another. Such as Fiverr only know the $5 not more or less. on the other hand the Freelancer accept any amount even 5+ or 5-. it does not matter to freelancer, so If you have large project you can use the Freelacer, on the flip side if you have small project you can use the Fiverr.

I think it's easier to get work on Fiverr. Plus, after so many sales you can offer "gig extras." This seems to be how sellers make most of their money. People do and can make a living on Fiverr. The key is to offer gigs that don't take a whole lot of time to complete.

But keep in mind on Fiverr, the seller only gets about $3.80 or so after Paypal fees and Fiverr takes their cut.

I've found some really good work on Freelancer, not so much on Fiverr.

Basically, you get what you pay for on those sites.
