I want to kick it up a notch

Hello fellow warriors,

I'm Tim, I've been dabbling around in internet marketing for about the last 2 1/2 years. I've made approximately $0.0000 during all this time .

I've changed niches 3 times. From internet marketing, to health & diet, to finally biblical prophesy and end-time study.

I absolutely love it!! This is my true niche and something I'm the most passionate about and understand extremely well.

I started out with Chris Farrell, where I was taught the importance of list building, article marketing, email marketing, being solution oriented and a list of other things I hold dear.

I still don't really have a business plan or a sales funnel. I'm horrible at goal setting and consistency.

One thing I consider good is I've become really good with being consistent on my youtube uploads. I've got about 30 subscribers and over 3000 channel views.

with this niche it's certainly not all about the $$ but this is something I would like to do with my life so in order for me to do this full time I'm going to have to generate some income at some point.

What I would like to see is over the next few months be able to at least consistently generate $300-$500 extra monthly.

Is there anyone that can take everything I've put here and kind of give me some direction as to what i need to do to make this happen and even exceed these goals?

    Congrats on taking it a step at a time.

    Having any kind of business requires that you do a TON of stuff; marketing, copy, budgeting, accounting, etc., etc.

    The key is to simplify these steps... just as you've done with uploading youtube vids. You've got that down, not take that same consistency and dedication and apply it to another aspect of your business.... and repeat... until you've got your days scheduled filled with activities that matters to your business.

    No matter what anyone tells you, if you're passionate about a certain niche, I don't care if it's birds, cats, etc... stick with it. You're passionate about it and you'll do the best with that niche. Once you've got a system in place, start brainstorming and asking yourself CONTINUALLY on how you can best monetize. The answers will come if you expect them... and maybe, just maybe, you'll be an innovator in your niche.

      Sometimes the first step is the toughest. I found my niche several years ago after trying a number of different things.

      One key is getting traffic. If you can get quality traffic to your blogs, sites, etc. that will ultimately lead to conversions. SEO and SMM are still two good ways to get that traffic. It does take work though.

        You're feedback is just what I needed.
        Some people explain SEO simply but it's still a little foreign to me, Dana.

        Jcorp, I see what you mean, it sounds like consistency is the biggest threat to my success and learning to monetize my business. These are mistakes I plan to rectify.

    I don't know if you were being funny with 'kicking it up a notch' from making $0.0000, but it made me laugh. (Sorry if you didn't mean too).

    I suggest looking in the WSO section for a free one about list building from Lee Murray. He will explain how to set up a sales funnel. Do a search for Survivalist or prepper products and promote some that have affiliate programs on maybe Clickbank or Amazon, etc.

    It sounds like you're already aware that you need to create a sales funnel and start building a list, so what's holding you back?

    If you can create videos and 7-10 emails based around HELPING people understand the message you want to share, that's ALL You need to start building your list.

    And profiting from it can be as easy as offering affiliate links to products you recommend like books, online courses or even creating your own offer. For your niche, I always recommend creating a 'support the cause' type of membership offers where loyal readers can support you with a small $20, $40 or $100 monthly donation.

    You'll notice multi-million dollar churches and non-profit organization doing extremely well with that model and it's super easy.

    If you create your initial message to educate people about what Christ is calling them to do and encouraging them to help share your messages, engage with you on social media and support you.... you're off to a great start.

    Just focus first on creating amazing content first, and the rest will follow.

    Don't even worry about conversion rates in the beginning... just get something set up where you can start collecting emails and building up your social media profiles.

      Hey,

      I feel your pain.. its so frustrating when you put time and effort in and get no results. I was in the same boat but I can get definitely say things have changed for me. The reason It change for me is because I wrote down all my goals, short term and loan term. I then set myself little targets to achieve in a day and once I completed them I would then tick them off. It simple but effective as it kept me more focused on being a success.

      Look Im not saying I know it all but I know how to motivate people and get them focused to make a change in their lives. Its okay man, im not trying to sell anything, I just enjoy helping people. If you want I can help you and I will do for free.
