Combining a bunch of little bits into one big post

Basically I'm too lazy to write 50 different small posts. It also looks dumb when clicking on a post and there's only one small paragraph. I hate fluffing things up with nonsense to make posts bigger as well.

Mainly it's just this product was released with these specs, that product was released... This new feature came out. Blah blah.

Google wise, would it be just as smart to write 1 big post containing a paragraph about each news bit (with heading of course for each one)? Or should I bite the bullet and fluff up 50 posts?

I would personally go for one proper post, and then work on other posts which is related to the topic of the product or to expand on how it can help you.

Never compromise your main money article. It's what you need to seal the deal. Work on other related posts instead. If the product is a link cloaking and tracking software, for example, you could write about email marketing and relate it back to the software.

Every post you write is one more post that be accepted into the search engine index.

So yep, have one huge pillar post....

And then from that create week-long tutorials, each page containing one step that leads to another.

    Great way to increase content!

Maybe I should explain myself a bit better. I don't sell anything. The blog acts mainly as a portal for the forum which is where I make my money from paid advertisers and adsense.

It's also a rapidly changing industry with new products coming out every week. So what I want to do is just weekly write a paragraph or two about each subject in one big weekly post (and of course do longer posts in between).

My concern is getting ranked for the content... So in regards to SEO, would I be better of SEO wise having 20-50 smaller posts. Or one giant weekly post.
