I need help launching my first affiliate website ...

The reason being that, I have only about 100 subscribers in my list since I setup my Aweber a couple weeks ago; I just dont want to spend 3-4 hours a day promoting on safelists and such just for it to flop after all the effort I've put into this program (because of the nature of these venues)
The website is targeted towards those interested in Social Networking -> Twitter
I am using the very powerful "Thank You Page" style offering a "Free Package" of two reports to help increase conversions.
Now on the front page I have integrated the script called "Viral Tweets" and I have modified the basic PHP so that any one of your referrals must 'tweet' your referral link before continuing on to the sales page and subsequent downloads for the two seperate 'packages' - FREE and UPGRADED
The product is $22 for "Twitter Treasure Chest" plus 5 bonuses - The Sales page
I wish I could set 100% for a select few that I can rely on but the base affiliate program script wont let me do so, so commissions are 65% from every sale, including those coming from the Twitter friends of your direct referrals.
I have heard mixed views in regards to website apps that require their Twitter username and password in order for them to proceed, and I have seen many websites that stil use them; But irregardless, I decided to just go full force with the idea because I believe that it has really great potential; Because of the special features in the affiliate program the site may attract a lot of aggressive MLMers, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
I have been working on this site all by myself for about the past 3 weeks or so, graphics, programming, and all the works, and really my main goal with this website is first and absolute foremost make enough to purchase my own computer. The computer I have been using lately is a friend of mine which is shoddy to put it best, prior I used public access computers at my YSU campus. Neither of which are very practical for what I wish to accomplish.
But I digress,
I will give a copy of the products to those who wish to help me launch, but if you are just looking for a freebie and have no real interest in my launch, then don't email me. I hate to sound rude but at the same time I don't give out quality stuff just for free; the last time I was seeking testimonials, I ended up giving out 15 copies of an ebook but only one review came back out of all of them.
