Including affiliate links on every e-mail/uploading posts?

Hey,

I'm creating a list for a dating product.

I want advice on 2 things.

I will be sending E-mails every 3 days to my list.

1.Should I include calls to action in each mail?

For e.g. CLICK HERE NOW TO PREVIEW HOW TO MASTER SEDUCTION TODAY etc.

At the bottom of the e-mail.

Or should I put them in every other e-mail?

Secondly,

Before when I made a new post it would go straight on my web page.

So when I went to reddit, delicious etc I just linked them to my post.

Now I've made a squeeze page so how do I go about it?

Obviously I want people on my list.

So there's no point linking them to my post is there?

Will I have to make the post manually on the sites themselves and then link them to my squeeze page?

The only problem with that is I won't be able to include pictures and stuff and it won't look very professional.

Thanks Joe

    1) No need to put aff links in each email. If you are frequently mailing your list, you can sometimes send them good content for free (i.e. with no links). This way your list will have an incentive to open each of your mail.

    2) As for reddit delicious etc, you can create a separate content rich page along with your subscribe form. Make sure you include lots of images and interesting stuff. Use this page just for social marketing.

    3) Best thing would be to run a niche related blog with reddit worthy content and add a popup subscriber box. And then promote the posts of this blog on social networks.

Yeah the problem is I'm probably less likely to get people on my list through a content page with a subscriber box in comparison to linking them to my squeeze page with my free giveaway.

I'm concerned because a lot of my traffic comes from reddit.

However, I'm not sure how else I'd do it.

You could see what works best, in my opinion always better to test things out yourself to get a real feel. I think its important to build a relationship with your list, and earn an amount of trust before you go throwing affiliate links at them in every email, you should definitely see better results that way.

Providing value in every email, no matter if it has affiliate links or not is a great way to boost open rates and responsiveness. You can focus the content around the affiliate link you have in the email. So your affiliate link is how to master seduction, you could tell a short story about it and then lead on to checking out your offer which will help them in this area.

I would promote my affiliate link in every email i send out. I currently mail out every 3 days. System works for me. Don't care if there's a better way either.

I've created a new page on Wordpress and made it into a squeeze page.

I can keep all my content for social media on there.

The only problem is I'll have to post new posts one after another and so when I link to my page they'd have to scroll down to see my newest post.

Unless I just made a new page for every post?

What is your MAIN goal of email marketing?

Take a second to think about that...

And you'll then be able to answer your initial question

There should be a REASON for every email you're sending out. Is it to promote something? Is it to provide value? Is it to get feedback?

The moment you figure out WHY you're sending that email out you should be able to tell whether or not you need to put a call to action or any kind of link.

For example, if your goal is to get people excited about an upcoming product launch, then you just need to tell them what they can expect. If you're pitching a product, obviously you'll need to include your link. If you just want to give them some tips, you don't really need to add anything else on to it.

A call to action should only exist, if you want them to take a particular action.
