Is this a good idea?

Is it a good idea to go ahead with an idea even if you can't afford to outsource any design work, you haven't really got any design skills etc..

For example, I were to give away a free product, firstly while it's being created get people to optin.

Then to do an OTO etc, all on your own without the necessary skills?

Basically, do I need to have the most beautiful looking optin page and OTO pages for it to work.

    Hmzz I think that totally depends on the content.
    I have submitted my e-mail to "bad looking pages" before.
    And if I didn't like the content I just unsubscribe.

    But you really can't afford $100 for a web package or to hire someone @ RAC ?

      I have a cool template and all, the design is very upbeat.

      It's the design of the sales offer I don't have.

      I'm looking at a website called fast-ppc it's giving me ideas, of what to do.

      This is why I asked someone to JV with me, I'm creating a product and everything here, but never going to sell it unless I get it right.

    You can get templates to use, they are usually plain but its better than nothing. I would worry most about the quality of what you deliver instead of how pretty it looks.
