Hi Warriors,

This is my first post here and I hope it's okay for me to post about my problem and I'm looking for some help.

I have been in internet marketing for several years and I like it. The only problem is that I have never succeed, and what I mean with success is to achieve my specific goal. One of my goals is to make money online and I want to make $5K/month.

I have tested different methods, for example selling Clickbank product, making review, mobile marketing, CPA, selling PLR, creating a blog and make money out of it, email marketing. I have bought lots of different products and spend hundreds of dollars into them. None of those methods and products have brought me any decent income, decent income for me is about $1K/month.

I have been working hard but simply never success. I have always wanted to get that freedom and quit my job and make my living from IM at home and be able to travel around the world. I have read before in warrior forum about success stories of warrior members and they inspired me.

So can you tell me do I just suck so badly in IM that it doesn't fit me at all and I should quit it or am I doing something wrong that I can't simply achieve my goals but yet I should keep struggling?

I would really appreciate all kind of help.

I am in almost the same situation that you are. I never made a constant income online. One thing that I lack and I think you lack too is focus. We are always passing from one business to another. We need to focus. I need a partner with the same desire and I think you have some. Please PM me if you want to talk and try something together. I am just starting out something.

    Hi Icecream

First off well done because you actually got down to DOING something to change your situation. Just reading in between the lines, you do not seem to believe enough in yourself (I was there too and so are many others) and to me you are lacking the most important factor to your success!

Do not waste time watching others become successful - instead analyse what makes them successful and reverse engineer - no need to re-invent the wheel

If you shift your mindset and believe in yourself you will become a success! You are already a Do-er so now start by training your mind everyday by listening to successful mindset training videos (a few suggestions are les browns, tony robbins, sam crowley) - just head over to YouTbe and google them.

    Everything comes down to you.

Decide to be successful right now and get to work and make it happen.

There is NO SECRET to this business! Just believe in yourself, add value to people's lives and those sales will follow with even the smallest list

Good luck and I trust I will see you up there

      Hi Maltaesar,

You're super . I really appreciate your information you provide and I will start doing so. I think that's one of the biggest problems in my life is that I don't believe in my self. For example currently when I'm working as software developer sometimes there are those moments that I feel so dumb to ask about them when I could have done them myself. After I receive answer from my co-worker then I realize that I had the same idea that he/she provided.

So I really need to work on my mindset. Interesting thing is that usually I get higher motivation on summer time because of the light of the sun and good weather. Small things have big impact!

Reason why I said that is because here in Finland we have like 3-4 months of cold darkness which effect in me such way that it suck motivation . I try my best to work on this.

I will definitely listen those people you suggested and also try to apply your suggested advice about reverse-engineering .

Maybe I should open a blog where I start my IM journey and keep it up and see where I'm heading to

    Hey Icecream

First of all I must say kudos for confessing. There needs courage but one thing that surprised or rather shocked me is that a guy like Icecream with guts to discuss all shits of his life is Sounding So Low!

Your problem is not with the methods or approach or any such technical bullshit. Your problem is in your motivation. You are lacking in that and I will give you a very simple trick to get out of it and then we will move to the monetary aspect.

IMPORTANT - Wake Up In The Morning And Stand In Front Of The Mirror And Say " I AM THE BEST, THE WORLD LOVES ME! "

This might sound silly but it isn't.

My students have gained lot of confidence with this simple trick. Just try it!

Now the monetary aspect - now listen very carefully as this is very important - all your experience of around 10 years I suppose is your asset. Now use that experience to help the newbies

Okay did you get that right!

Create stuff for newbie with your experience and build a list of followers on facebook and twitter and I do not think that you need anything else.

If you still have any doubts just feel free to ask more.

    Take care and keep smiling!

      Hi Vick,

Thanks for your comment, you surprised me with your way of talking, never expected that but it doesn't matter. I have actually helped newbies, I had a blog about internet marketing before which I kept for few years, only problem is that I didn't make more than just $1500 in two whole years. Then I sold that blog. I don't want to make that little in two whole year. I would make money faster with my job.

I'm not here either to make money fast. That's only baloney, nobody can make $1000 in few days without any experience. What I really want is to have one system that I work on with it and it would gradually work, but whenever I try some system they work at the beginning but then this big fall happens. It won't grow and it won't make money and in the end I have just ended up spending lots of precious time and efforts to just TRY achieve that point.

      That's something that frustrates me.

I agree that's it's all about mindset and attitude. You external success really does reflect your internal confidence.

I suggest you start reading daily to help boost your confidence.

Here are a few books I recommend-
        "Think and Grow Rich"
        "4 Hour Work Week"
        "Psycho Cybernetics"

        Hope that helps.

          • Three simple steps I do to succeed in Life and in business

Learn It > Do It > Teach It

When you choose to play a sport like basketball, you get your first basket and it felt good!

Then you play a game with others and saw that your competitors are great and some not so great.

You admire their skills and wish to be like them because you tasted the already the great joy of a small goal.

You befriend the skilled competitor and ask how and why he is so good.

He tells you he practices everyday his shooting, he lifts weight, sleeps 8 hrs and eats healthy.

Then you thanked him and you realize that it is just as simple as that!

So you do it, and do it and practice it, but you still cant knock down shots.

You are still lousy in dribbling but you pushed on.

Played more games with the big boys just so you can experience how it feels to be in the big league. You get injured, but you got you got back up.
You played more games and got more scrapes and bruises but you got back up.

Then you start learning their moves and was able to defend.

You start using the same techniques on them and it worked!

You learned a few tricks and it keeps on working!
Until you get so confident everyday from these games, and even though you are battered and bruised you realize that you love the pain, the struggle, the hardships because you feel that you are actually alive.

Almost like a masochist, you realize the pain makes the goals extra sweet when it goes in.

Makes the win the greatest feeling after a heartfull effort.

You also appreciate the the losses against hardfought opponents and the honor to play against them.

You are not really losing, you are really learning How to win

Then you start knocking down baskets after baskets, goals after goals and made a name for yourself as a rockstar on the courts and your name spreads like wildfire.

Then someone asks you why and how you are so good.

You shared the knowledge and experience of your confidence.

You said it took time, effort and genuine hardwork, blood sweat and tears but wouldn't trade it for anything else.

    hey icecream,

Welcome to the community. Glad to have you as a part of the forum.

First of props to you for taking action. There are tons of people that just purchase products and NEVER take any kind of action what so ever.

My tip here is like others may have said, get your mindset right. Start reconditioning your mind for success.

Secondly, just stay consistent and persistent. I can say ALL of the methods work in some form or fashion, but more time than not.. they don't work over night like some of these products claim.

I hope you find your answer my friend! Goodluck and success to ya!

I appreciate the situation you are in.

However, you have tried all of these areas but how MUCH have you done?

Don't get me wrong - I am not getting at you, what I mean is building one site or two or ten is not enough in most cases.

I have built well over 100 Amazon sites and launched over 50 Clickbank products. Some did VERY well, others not so much.

The key is refining your skills and focus on getting better so you understand this stuff but it is ALWAYS a numbers game - it is sales.

In most cases you need to up the numbers.

It might sound like some spiritual dross but the first question you have to ask yourself is WHY?

Because unless your endeavor isn't from within and you enjoy the actual activities, your chances of succeeding will be less.

I was in the same position in the past too.

If you want to increase your income each and every month, you need to start to work with affiliate programs that pay you residual income. One time commission programs allow you to earn ONCE and that's it.

    Hello Icecream,

You should try to hit the nail on the head. Create multiple websites and promote them masively. Do not leave creating backlinks out of this because it's one of the main key to this. If you can't do it yourself, i recommend fiverr.com/backlinkexpertz, to do it for you.
And don't forget to increase the level of your motivation.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Icecream,

To be a successful entrepreneur and business owner, like many people have said already, its all about how you think a situation will play out for you.

If you think something will fail, then it will.

I know it's easier said than done, but you have to remain as positive as you can with business, and be confident in yourself. Even though you have failed in the past, you have learnt from the mistakes which you have already made, and you can get back up and learn from them. I don't think you should ever give up on your dreams.

I definitely agree with @dancoc, you just need to focus on one product, and one product alone.

Many people get excited about starting an idea, and think about where it can take them, how much money they can make, and how it can be a success. If it doesn't reach this expectation, your head starts to fall, and you think of another idea, to help boost your mentality.

But the key here is to focus and stick to your one product, and to stop changing the product or idea. I know you can do it!

    Hi ice,

and welcome to the Warrior pit.

When I read your post, the first thing that popped into my mind was:

Ok, you're into IM, you know a lot about different methods, but what are you interests?
Which niche would you like to work in the most?
    What are your hobbies?

I'm really glad you've set your main goal (5k/month) but you need to achieve it in a niche you like to promote. It would be a shame for you to fulfill your goals, by doing something you aren't passionate about (because it'll end up being just another job to make a living).

Take me for an example - I'm in internet marketing for more than 5 years now and have specialized in MMO (Make Money Online) niche, because I'm really passionate about it. Maybe you should ask yourself first - Am I really passionate about stuff I've been trying to do online?? (dig deep)

Most profitable IM methods work, and haven't changed for a while now so I think the main problem is not in methods and techniques.

One more thing, don't feel bad about the failures you've been through. Those are your most valuable experiences - analyze and learn from them, write about them...because you have more to offer than you're currently aware of

    Hope my comment helped,

    Cheers,

    Phill

Something that you may want to do is to ask
yourself "What do I do the best?", then don't
forget to answer. Most people are really good
at at least one thing, if not many things.

Take another personal reading and ask
"How did I get good at this "One Thing"?

You will likely realize that you became good
      at it because you:
      1. Spent a lot of time doing it
      2. Enjoyed doing it
      3. Shared what you were doing with others

It is no different with IM. Overnight success is
certainly not the norm, and consistent work is
involved. If it is done correctly, it is a job, albeit
a job that allows for more personal flexibility.
But not at first. At first it may take up more time
than a regular job until you learn what you are doing
and get focused on what is important.

Most successful people online have put in a lot
of time learning, and (this is key) - DOING!
They also like it or they wouldn't still be doing it.

As far as the sharing goes, just look at this forum.
How much information do you need to get started?
It's mostly all here. There are really no secrets
any more that haven't been shared at one time
or another in these threads. Want to know how
to build a list? Plug in "List building" into the search
bar at the top of the page. Check out the many
posts that have been made on the subject (not WSO's).

There may be some tools that will help save some time,
a mentor (you may want to consider one) can help
you get focused on what is important, and there may
be a shortcut here and there, but mostly creating a
sustainable business online boils down to time and work.

As mentioned several times already, that time and
that work needs to be focused toward just ONE thing.
That "One Thing" in this case is NOT the money.
Rather, it is becoming a value to others and therefore,
      a value to yourself.
