what is the best premium wordpress theme in 2014

I need a professional, contemporary wordpress theme that is EASY to use (not a techie), comes with some great "skins" is SEO optimized and mobile friendly. Any ideas?

Someone suggested Divi by elegant themes but I do not want to pay a yearly fee.

I read about X from theme forest- any one have any experience with this or any other suggestions?

The theme will be used for 2 business websites.

  • Depends on what your trying to accomplish, I still believe thesis to be the number one for seo. I actually love awake and clear though.
  • I am a psychiatrist. I used thesis years ago, but it was too much work for a non-techie like myself.

  • Check themeforest or templatemonster both have great themes and that too at a very reasonable cost, premium starts around $45 to $60. and that too for responsive template !
    You will need to choose from these to the theme that best describes your product !

    Asking "What is the best theme"? is like asking what is the best sportscar?

    Do you need it to go fast or hang in the curves or look good at the weekend driveins?

    Will you settle for an old classic or do you need the flashiest most expensive supercar?

    I've bought and used dozens, if not hundreds of themes over the years, and after a while the new wears off and you wind up using the one that is easiest for you to understand and get your content "out there".

    The "best theme" is the one you understand and can get to work for you...the content is the thing.
