Need help about Link Directory

I do need some help,

If i want to open up a link directory site, does it consumes a lot of resources?

GB space and CPU resources.

    Space isn't as much as a problem. You could run a low traffic web directory on shared hosting. If you're aiming for a huge business directory - then watch out.

    They use plenty of mysql connections. Lots of php processes too, depending on which script you use.

    Typically not. There are a couple of decent scripts. The hardest thing to do is find a good skin to match your project. As directories are typically text with few images unless you get boatloads of traffic you should have little trouble.
