Making money with whiteboard videos? Is this still good?

I came across this idea not to long ago about making money with whiteboard videos; I heard about people putting their services on Fiverr, Elance, etc and making money like that.

Pray tell, Is this still a good service to offer people?

If it is, would you recommend me putting the service on Fiverr or Elance?

Also, how much money can be made by doing this?

I've always wanted to offer a service online (I heard that's where the money is), but never really knew what service to pick ; It will either be this or Freelance writing.

My grammar sucks, so I hope it's this!

Thank you all in advance!

When whiteboard videos first appeared over a year ago, I did sell a few, but now i make more with different types of video.

There are a lot of people selling these types of video services and also a few software tools now that allow people to create these videos for themselves. I would try and find something you can offer that is different to what everyone else is offering. Try and find a unique selling point.

This is just my own personal opinion.

Whiteboard presentations are fine for the first 30 seconds - then they tend to get old and boring very fast. Many seem to drag on forever and ever.

I personally would rather see some other medium. But that's just me.

      Good luck whatever you choose.

Yes, these kind of videos are still good and to be honest i have bought a few in the past. The only problem now days is that there are loads of people doing these kind of services but yet none are really different from each other. You need to come up with a good video to attract people and make it stand out from the rest. Once you have achieved those goals you will be able to sell quite a few until someone else starts to copy you and then you will need to move on to another kind of video.

If you have to ask whether it's a good service to offer people:

    1. You have not done your market research
    2. You probably have a long way to go in acquiring the skills necessary to kill it in that market which not only include artistic skills but also production and copywriting skills.

Now, having said that... there is money to be made... a lot of money...

For the producers and creators... millions... for the companies using them in their marketing tens of millions.

And no, I am not speaking from theory... my clients, parters, and associates rule those markets. One my my clients has made multiple 8 figures with white board videos as his selling platform.

Of course... the people who produce them for him are master copywriters, artists, and voice talent that matches the market.

Do your homework... you could have answered this question for your self.

Thank you guys for the feedback! I will probably be thinking of a better service to offer people seeing that this one is kinda overly saturated; still haven't made my decision yet.

If you're just starting out, I'd suggest avoiding any service based business for making money online. It's too damn easy to become a slave to it. Every dollar earned comes at the expense of something more valuable, your time and energy.

It's better to earn $200 in passive income than thousands of dollars doing something that chains you to your computer. You can always scale up when you have passive income. Not so with a service business.

Whiteboard service is really profitable. Many people are turning to using whiteboard animations for their sales page. I say you go for it and start a service providing these.

Also, if you make a product, you can use it yourself to promote your product.

personally i think the best sellers are personal review videos. from my experience. even if you have to hire actress from fiverr.
also inside look and review of the product are awesome

What I get from all of the above is that whiteboard videos, if done with a differentiating touch, are still popular and in demand. Thanks for the advice.

White board videos are the most powerful and profitable form of sales video in the general market right now... responsible for generating hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

The only differentiating touch that you need is the ability to tell a compelling story combined with irresistible copyrighting coupled with talented illustration that simply tells the story in a visual way.

There are thousands of companies and individuals looking for bargains on white board videos... there are hundreds of people selling bargains of varying quality.

There are solid companies making hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars producing them for $10k-$50k per video.
