Facebook ads

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to set up my first Facebook ad to promote my ebooks - one of them is about motivation, inspiration and following your dreams and the other is about wedding etiquette. Sales of the ebook have tapered off so I'm using ads to get it circulating again while I work on my other ebook.

I've already read a few articles about successful Facebook ads, but I'm wondering if there are any tips, you all would be able to extend. Has any one else gotten favorable results from Facebook ads; especially when it comes to promoting ebooks?

    In my experience, FB reader's aren't really a good target market for buying.
    They are there to catch up with what their friends are doing.

    If you have a group or fan page dedicated to the topic you are are trying to promote you may have better conversions.

    For PPC, I would suggest either Adwords or Bing Ads. But, if you're new to the PPC campaigns, be prepared to experiment....

    Facebook ads I think are good for dating and other social marketing products. I do not think other types of products can convert to a profit on Facebook.
