How Do CLickbank work for sellers? Do they BUY the right of your product?

Hello,

I tried to sell a product on clickbank for 97$ and i received a response from them telling me that the highest price for my product will be only 50$

Why is that? Are they going to buy the product from me or what?

Please explain me how clickbank work for sellers.

    They give you their take on what they think your product is worth.

    They will only sell your product if you sell it for $50 or less from what you've said (which prob means $47 max..)

    CB works as the seller, they buy your product and sell to the buyer, so It's really important that your product meets their quality and price requirements.

      They don't really *buy* your product - they are the mediator - the connection between the buyer and the seller (you). As the seller your offer and product must meet their requirements to use their services.

    But do they buy ONE unit or many copies?

    Because if they tell me that they will only accept the 50$ price, but they are going to paiy me right away 500 copies, I will acept that price.

      It's true that their terms say
      "You authorize ClickBank to make your product available for sale at the price designated by ClickBank"
      (see https://www.clickbank.com/terms.html 3c)

      however if they do suggest a price change I would guess it is rare.

        Totally dumb question because I'm a rookie with this Clickbank stuff, but why are prices listed in the odd numbers of $27, $37, $47, $67, $97, etc?

          Not dumb . It's a result of a psychological study done many years ago - people are more willing to shell out $27 than $28. It could also be $xx.97 -- just so long as it ends in *7*.
