Beachbody / Insanity / Px-90 Marketing Model
Does anyone have any comments about how they go about marketing their products?
I heard from someone claiming to have the big boss of Beachbody in his mastermind group that this company makes $400 million / year, with 25% going to advertising, plus I myself have seen promoted videos and banner ads on Youtube for two of the products (Insanity and T25) so they must be successful to pay for so much advertising, but why does it seem that their marketing campaign breaks so many laws of IM?
For instance, there doesn't seem to be any email collection on beachbody.com or any of the product sales pages, nor do they seem overly concerned with capturing potential customers on their Youtube or Facebook pages . . . it all looks like getting as many clicks on the sales pages as possible and, if they buy, great . . .
I know that they also buy a lot of infomercial time on TV and have a sort of affiliate program where people who have bought their products make money when they sell products to others.
I would be very interested in any other info that you guys may have on what they do marketing-wise to dominate this niche -- thanks in advance.
If not, maybe anyone who has experience marketing similar products will have a couple of ideas on how to launch a series of get-lean / get-big / get-ripped infoproducts, build a brand, build a following, etc.
Once again, thanks in advance for all of your comments!
