Is it ok to remove Amazon 1 pixel image tracker from the links?

Hello i was wondering if its against their use to remove that tracker? would it raise a red flag? i know it counts page views.
id like to know so i dont get myself banned.

    I've removed it in the past accidentaly as well as on purpose (when changing links around) with no problems.
    You should probably read the TOS though

    Amazon also offers links without any tracking (except your associated-id).

        You are correct.
        I still use the old linking format (still valid) from times when all the widgets and tools at amazon were not available.

        That could be a very good reason to block the tracking image, especially if the traffic is coming from a source that is prohibited by Amazon. However, you might have other reasons for not wanting them to know.

    I would read the TOS before removing it. Hate to rearn a ton then they say you broke the tos.

      Yes, well that is why i asked here so maybe someone knows or have had experiences. in Amazon TOS theres nothign that says you can or can not remove it and i dont want to contact them to get their attention. somethings they just ignore, you know
