If you're in Europe - you can now UN-Google yourself

Starting today EU-citizens can request removal of items in the google space for queries that include their name where those results are "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant, or excessive in relation to the purposes for which they were processed."

All that is needed is proof of EU-citizenship.
Where you reside is irrelevant, where the "offending" link is hosted is also irrelevant.
Basically its a global take down opportunity if you want to clear your name from bad hits.

I heard this on the news today, pretty interesting topic. I'm sure something will be rolled out in the US soon.
