The Dating Niche and CL and BP

Where is the best section on Craig's List and Backpage (if any) to draw traffic to your list for dating? One would assume it would be the personals.

Would like to hear from the pros.

Thank you in advance.

If you need to think about it, then it probably depends on what exactly you are advertising (i.e., an individual seeking a date vs. a company offering dating or escort services). Most people mentally associate the Personals category in classifieds with dating.

I've gotten way better resuls from paid traffic such as Adwords, Bing, Facebook, Plenty Of Fish, other paid networks, and other dating websites. CL sucks for dating traffic. It sucks your time. Not worth the ROI.

Just make sure you're not marketing only one product, you should have a back-end sales funnel with at least a dozen products.

Great advice - I'm up to about 100 day Organic in this niche, just finished a 25 page ebook 10 mins ago to get opt ins, and considering other traffic sources.

I'll be marketing a few excellent products, with mine in the pipeline too

      Thanks

As far as I know backpage will charge you $1 for every ad posted in the personals section so I don't think it would be worth.

When I tried CL I had the surprise of not receiving the traffic I hoped for so I made my move to Bing Ads which was the best choice.

Very cheap clicks, nice amount of traffic and decent leads (I was promoting just a sign-up offer for a dating website). I mean I turned $3 into $40 just testing the Bing Ads platform as being new to it.

Maybe you will find this info useful
