What Do You Use For "Idea Capture"?

It seems that all my best ideas come to me when I am away from the computer so years ago I started to carry a small notebook with me to "catch" these "killer" ideas. But more recently I started to use my smart phone because I *always* have it with me so even at the gym or out for dinner I cna grab an idea. I can also sync it with my PC when I get home if I have had loads of ideas.

Do you write down your great ideas or just try to remember them? And do you prefer good old paper and pen, the use of technology or something different to grab your ideas?

Just being nosey...? :-)

All the best,
Richard

My notebook goes with me to the gym, to church, to the office and on vacation too!

I recently found some notes in my notebook that I created 2 years ago and didn't act on them. They are the basis of a new product (actually line of them) I am creating right now . . .

In the early days I was a little old fashion. I like writing down everything. Its just that I don't trust technology. Don't take it otherwise cause I have bad experience on my techs. But PDA seems to works fine for me.
