Question for Newbies: What's keeping you from moving forward in Internet Marketing?

As a "newbie" it's hard to figure out what to do, where to do it, and when to do it, how to do it or maybe your problem is trying to do too many things. It's different for all of us. But what would you say is the main thing that's keeping you from moving forward in Internet Marketing?

Maybe our answers can help someone else get to where we are.

I think its the same answer for almost all of them -- fear. They are afraid they dont know what they are doing.. afraid to make bad choices.. and afraid to revealing their creation to the world. What they don't realize is that there are no wrong answers.. just take action and push forward and you will be just fine.

If you like my posts please leave a thanks and message me if you wish for me to follow up with your thread. I enjoy engaging with entrepreneurs and ALWAYS willing to take the time to offer solid answers that you can take to the bank. Internet marketing has made me rich over the last +20 years and this is how I give back to the community for all of those evil popunders I used to sling in the 90s.

      Very well put super.

There are absolutely no wrong answers. Eventually you will find the system that works for you. You can not focus on how everyone else got started and stayed on top of things. One thing they will never share with you is that they failed hundreds of times before they found one single method that works.

I have failed in the past and taken breaks going back to work full time for dead end companies several times in the past. Maybe thats what ke[t me going though. Just think of that first dollar you ever made online. It may have taken you 6 months to initially get to that first dollar but it did and will happen. Try not to bounce from one thing to another or do far too many tasks at once.

Give yourself goals and force your self to achieve them. Most importantly staty focused on the prize and push onward to bigger better things. You do not have to have the best copywriter or sales letter or articles or products or service or site or programmer or anything for that matter. All you need is that determination and dedication and belief in what you are trying to sell them everything else will come naturally as you grow. It can take a week or a year to rank a site in some niches with some markets. The more you stay focused on beating that niche the more people will begin to take notice of your product and or service. Bringing you more clients on a daily basis as they tell their friends and family.

Your success is your success no one elses.

When I first started out it was not enough money invest and too much information...If I had to do it all over again I would've picked one strategy to stick with until I saw results...and that strategy would be building my list from day 1...

I think that a lot of newbies are just bombarded with opportunities and never FOCUS on one strategy till they succeed. They try something for a little while and when it doesn't work for them, they try to find the next shiny object.

There is also a lot of info on marketing, for example, that is just outdated and doesn't work well anymore.

There are other reasons but these are the 2 major ones.
