Ideas required - how should I spend my list building budget?

Hello, this is my second month of building a list. Earnings from the first month have resulted in a budget for building the list further of $2000 this month - up until now I have built the list from free traffic methods, plus solo ads and funnel clicks. Any additional suggestions for where to spend the budget for paid traffic would be greatly appreciated!

    I'd look into buying some banner space on websites in your niche. You can actually pick these banner spots up pretty cheap these days.

    I'd also put $300 into a free WSO that you can give away (or sell for $1). This is a great way to build your list quickly in the Internet Marketing Niche

    Why not head over to SafeSwaps and find partners? You would send their Email to your list while they send your email to their list.. this is among the best and free methods to grow your list real fast. Plus its free.

    Only thing is with giving away a free WSO is your list just gets a pile of tyre kicker freebie seekers-you should make it a low cost WSO to at least filter out the people who are never going to invest any money in their own success. I speak from experience-free WSO's are a dead loss.

    go to leadserve.com and buy good leads from them. they are only single optin but they are still good leads. alot fresher thank some of the double optin leads.

    Well RichEmmett, a great test in my opinion would be for you to invest money into pay per click traffic sources like Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Search Engine Advertising Network | 7Search.com and all of the other big online advertising agencies. Although I have never tried pay per click before I hear that is one of the fastest ways to generate leads and sales.

    My advice to you would be to TEST different campaigns with the lowest budget so that you will lose very little money if any of the networks turn out to be useless in generating income.

    I actually did very well launching a slew of free WSOs haha...

    (A lot of people say they're tire kickers... But I disagree - I was able to add about 418 leads and profit handsomely by launching like 4-5 WSOs)...

    Definitely feasible, but you need to tweak it and work it for best results...

    - But to be honest, were I in your shoes I would continue to do whatever brought you that $2,000 profit to begin with.

      Thanks guys - I'll give some thought to whether to make it free of $1 - I can see pros and cons of both.

    Kudos to you for taking action

    If what you are already doing is working for you, do continue and scale it up from there.

    There are many other places which you can invest to get more traffic to your website like Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, Buying advertisement from other people's blog and many other ways.

    I think it will be practical to stay FOCUS on mastering one traffic generation method at a time.

    Outstanding result Rich, if you made $2,000 profit in your first month (or perhaps you are saying the profit you did make is encouraging you to spend $2,000)

    Either way, nice to hear of someone doing well. If what you are doing is working so well - I wouldn't change anything as there is no way, in one month, you could have fully scaled the possibilities of what you have achieved so far. My advice is to do the same BUT do more of it!

    If the solo ad sellers you bought from worked out and they are actively building their lists, then it should be safe enough to go back to them after a month but always remember to test, test, test with solos.

    And, of course, think about making a product based on your success and sell that.
