What are some common businesses people start on Craigslist?
(especially here at Warrior)

I've looked into it in the past and it just seemed ominous. Is it more common to sell physical goods? services?

    Lead generation for car repairs and 'physical' tasks.. building decks.. outside of that.. your normal online hussles like resume building and what not. Head hunting is pretty good as well. But in reality.. there are a lot more uses for CL that people don't see or market.. stuff that is worth its weight in gold, but I don't know you guys well enough to spill my secrets on that haha.

      Speaking from a consumer point of view, I only search craigslist to buy physical (goods b/c I know what I'm getting. If I'm looking for services, it's off to Google for a search b/c I'd have to research feedback, business complaints, etc.

      My physical goods listings totally out sells my services listing.

        We have helped many local businesses around the US in all the typical business niches that you can imagine. There have been divorce attorneys, website design companies, movers and general contractors who all built their entire businesses and law practices using only Craigslist to market their business. If posted properly and consistently getting your Unique Selling Proposition and "Why Choose Us" marketing message across, you can attract the proper target audience.

    I think it's a good place when you can resell what you buy, but sometimes I feel bad because in Asia, mostly for expatriates who cannot speak local languages, and then sellers put the higher prices than it might be valued if on the local sites...
