Good question. I think this has a lot to do with HOW you have developed your business to this point.

I believe that if you have been white-hat and have developed products/services that genuinely help people instead of just charging them for something they can get elsewhere for free, then you should be able to let things ride and let word of mouth continue for you.

On the other hand, if you sell a bunch of crap, or if you trick the search engines to rank you affiliate sites higher, then it ain't gonna last long!

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

With all the articles I have out there and the name I have made for myself,
I'd say at least a few years.

Having said that, I don't know how much the passive income would be. If
I had to guess, probably about 1/3 of what I am making now or about $3,300
a month, give or take a few hundred. Really hard to say.

If the day comes that I can't work anymore or I'm no longer here, it won't
matter anyway. This December the mortgage is paid, next year my daughter
is out of school and my wife makes almost as much a year as I do and we
don't need the money that bad. So she'll be just fine if I kick the bucket.

But I'm planning on being around a long time.

I'm too ornery and stubborn to croak.

I think mine would last about 2 hours, or when I bought a Coke - whichever came first. Things will get better soon, I can just feel it.

I would think there would be enough passive income to cover our living expenses for up to 6 months. Beyond that, I expect to get some passive income for at least several years.

Do not get between a wombat and a chocolate biscuit; you will regret it dearly!

Good question. I often wonder how Ken Giddens business has done since he passed on. I believe his daughter took the business over. Hopefully everything is still going strong.

Could be decades or just days. Depends on the stock market.
