Hi People,

I am a newbee. I have done various expensive online courses and am just trying to come up with a vague plan!!

I have good ideas for a niech. I have some money for outsourcing. I have written 25 good articles on my niech and plan to write 2 more high quality articles each month. I am in the process of setting up a small site (nice quality word press) to post my articles on. I plan to offer a free book on my subject to entice people to sign up via a squeeze page I have set up an Aweber autoresponder and then plan to build confidence with my signups and my list sending out quality weekly emails also with affiliate via email

I plan to drive traffic to my site by
1) providing good content on my site
2) participate in forums and facebook groups
3) link building and directory submissions
Also possibly ppc.
Would solo ads be a good way to grow to build my list?

I would really appreciate your help and comments. Do you think this sounds like a viable way to start?

Also this is a very loose question........ is there a rule of thumb success rate about conversion rates. For instance if I get 2000 (intrested in my niche) visitors to the site each week. How many could I expect to sign up to my list. Also what is the conversion rate with affiliate links on autoresponder emails? I have assumed that these are both well written and optimized.

If am looking for someone to act as a sounding board and just bounce ideas off. I would really appreciate any help here.

Cheers the now!!

Thats a good idea to build your list! Offer free products/ videos that actually give value to your customer. They dont want something old and out of date. Regarding your "Loose Question" There isnt a percantage or conversion rate that is common, it all depends on what kind of emails you are sending, is it coming off as spam, will your customers trust you as well? There are many things to keep in account..

Add me on skype Wael613 we can chat I have some more ideas but would need more infor.

      Jahm,

Have you researched your intended niche market to find out if there are customers already buying the sort of information you plan to offer?

If so, do you know who your typical customer is? That knowledge will help you decide your optimum means of reaching potential buyers.

Once you have subscribers, do you know what products or services you'll be promoting?

    Hi,

It's not so much the investment that you have but more on how WISELY you
    use that investment.

You asked about conversions so you could use some of your budget to TEST
various parts of your set against other versions of it.

You need to remember that the BEST possible advice you can get is from your
    own NUMBERS after testing!

That will SHOW YOU what is working right now and what needs be tweaked,
re-tested and optimized for best results moving forward.

As for your lists you need to get off to the best possible start with every lead that
    enters your funnel.

That way each lead will keep on opening, reading & clicking whenever you send out
    those all important emails.

That's the END results at the end of the day.

You need to be able to drive as many targeted leads to any particular page
all in one go as you can at almost any time too.

That's the real power of owning a responsive TARGETED LIST of subscribers.
