Is it JUST ME or did the WF get easier to read

It seems clearer and easier to read all of a sudden.

Is it just my old eyes or has there been a theme/typeface/font/spacing change to the forum?

Either way - I LIKE IT!

Yeah looks better than before but I got so used to the old format! But anyways sometimes there has to be a change and some fresh wind.

After the redesign, there were a lot of complaints about the font. It looks like they've restored the old font or close to it. I noticed it earlier today. A welcome change.

It definitely looks like the WF from a long time ago, but it def looks great. I think it works just fine too, especially since it looks really interesting and easier to read everything.

I quite blind when it comes to appreciating design. But I guess I like the top right image of becoming a free member...

This font is MUCH better, especially for my sight in only 1 eye. Thank goodness they finally did something right.

I know I wasn't crazy about the changes at first, but looks like the font's been improved a bit and it's growing on me now. Wonder how long this "flat design" trend will last before the tide swings back to the good old days of shiny, 3d looking things? ;-)

    No shiny 3D please.

I like the way many sites are going, flat is good. Well, just my opinion.

Not only is it easier to read but the quality of posts have improved as well. What's the point of having tons of posts made by people posting low quality stuff? As the old saying goes, 'LESS is MORE.' Freelancer probably stands to make a lot more money with less volume (but higher quality and better targeted) posts on WF than the old churn and burn days of inflated claims and cartoon IM characters.

I think the new design will be more welcoming to people not familiar with the Warrior Forum... Everyone wins, I guess

Considering the huge traffic volume WF has, Freelancer definitely has a lot to work with and can definitely create a much better community. Maybe fewer questions that have been asked and answered a billion times before and also ridiculous unsubstantiated income claims. So far,all the changes look great. Let's hope they go all the way.

I must be the only one who doesn't like the changes then.

Whilst the font has been improved recently, meaning I can bring the screen back to 100%, posts I have read no longer change colour so It's difficult to know which posts I have previously looked at. It does mean that I'm not on here as often, because I get fed up of re-reading the same posts, which is a good thing really.

You are not the only one. I am not a big fan either.

I like how to old forum looked. Well, like it or not.....we have to live with it.

Just saw that. Had to do a hard refresh to get it to show. That's just ugly. I see they're trying to highlight those sections, but that's just ugly.

        Not just ugly but pug-fugly!
They are totally out of place.

I like this updated design but i don't fully get freelancer's angle, and how they'd make more money than it already did? Like substantially more money and not 10-20%, but i guess that's all the WAMAs, to help us, older people and attract new people. (+all new categories which are also made to attract new traffic)

And yes, i've noticed new people asking questions like "which autoresponder is better?"

And now all the icons to tell you if you've read the thread have just updated and become awful. I feel there's someone out there with a box of crayons offering design advice.

I'm not seeing that. Probably just as well. But I do feel that if they want that drastic of a makeover to the front page, they really ought to hire a design firm rather than in house. It's coming together all piecemeal and the front page just looks ugly now. If they want to highlight special features on the front page, I think this would be a "prettier" way to do it, bearing in mind, I only spent a few minutes on this.

The WSO, WAMA, and War Room images are way too big and "in your face". Are they really necessary anyway?

In terms of the look, it just looks a bit simpler and easier to read for me. Im not too crazy about the pictures for Warroom and WSO section. But I guess its like marketing in general, you have to split test! Hahaha!
