No. Craigslist does not allow affiliate links like that ... unless you're sneaky.

Use Craigslist for it's intended purposes - to promote physical products and services.

Not openly, but it doesn't actually matter.

You're asking the wrong question, here.

You ought to be asking whether Amazon will allow it.

Getting an ad removed by Craigslist is one thing. Getting your Amazon associateship revoked is quite another, surely?

I don't see anything specific about it in their terms of service, but the requirement for affiliate disclosure would certainly appear to apply to the situation - and you surely wouldn't want to put all that wording into an ad on Craigslist, anyway?

In the long run, this thread would help you a lot more than the question you're asking: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6608638

I don't think that CL will allow you to post any affiliate link within the ad. Infact they does not even allow any hyperlinks within the ads now. Links are appearing as texts now.

Great point Alexa about being more concerned with Amazon's policy on approved marketing channels. If Amazon did allow it, you would be better off generating a meaningful and short URL using Pretty Link plugin and embedding that link in the image. Even though its not clickable, making it simple to retype is vital. Definitely avoid typing out the link in the text portion of your ad. That is an invitation to getting flagged.
