New domain not loading - why??

Around 48 hours ago I purchased a domain name from Namecheap and hosting from another company.

Something strange is happening though, when I write the domain name -

Sometimes the site appears and most of the time, I get this message -

Welcome to namecheap.com. This domain was recently registered at namecheap.com. The domain owner may currently be creating a great site for this domain. Please check back later!

I have contacted the hosting firm and though many troubleshooting steps have been carried out, the same issue still persists.

I need help on this issue, hope to get a solution.

Thank you and regards

    This is really strange.

Did you check your DNS setting? It might be the case that you have not deleted the default DNS or you have added extra DNS?

The best solution will be to check with the hosting support team.

      Hi.

Thanks for your reply, appreciate it.

Yes, I have done that and everything looks good in third party DNS tests.

I do not know what is going wrong.

      Regards.

    Try:

Open your Command Prompt (Run -> CMD)

    Type-
    ipconfig /flushdns

Then try to reload your website. It may have cached the old DNS servers if you attempted to try and load the website to fast before proper propagation had taken place.

      Have done this. Thanks.

But I think this may be so,,,
I attempted to try and load the website too fast before proper propagation had taken place

Now I do not have a solution.

        Hey,

PM me the site and I'll let you know if it loads for me?
If it does, your hosting should be able to provide you with a line of code that you can add to your hosts file:

        C:Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

This will force your machine to load the new propagated site.

        PS - Try this too,

Open IE, Delete ALL browser cache (tick every available box).
        Close IE
        CMD -> ipconfig /flushdns
        Open IE and reload site.

Find file "hosts" without any extension in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open it in notepad and add...
Your server ip (tab) Your domain here.
    Example:111.111.111.111 domain.com

To find your ip, go to...
Reverse IP Lookup - Reverse Trace & Locate Any IP Address Now

    Save the file.

You'll be able to see it immediately.
However, this is just for you.
Other people will still have to wait until it's all propagated.
